Is anyone interested in doing buddy reads? It's basically a smaller version of the group reads. Some buddy reads have two people, some have 5 or more. It would be easy for people to pick and choose which books they want to read and when. I think it would dovetail nicely with the booksharing part of this group: people could pass on the book and, when the next person reads it, they can discuss it.
If there's some interest in this, I'll set up a folder for it, and people can post in there looking for people to buddy read with.

I think I'd enjoy doing a buddy read for Long Hot Summoning. Is anyone else interested in discussing it for this group? If they are, I'll include my thoughts in the private notes section of my review, and we can discuss it whenever my buddy gets around to reading it.

Janice (jamasc) Are you reading that one for Ontario because the author lives there? Or is the setting somewhere in Canada? Given that it is fantasy, the setting could be anywhere.

I'm not really reading it for the challenge. I wanted something funny.
I'd say about 75% of the book is set in the Kingston, Ontario mall, but I think the other two books in the series might be set in other provinces, maybe Novia Scotia.

GateGypsy | 126 comments I'm planning on reading the first in that series as one of my Nova Scotia books, so I'd definitely be interested in #3! I like funny, too ;-)
