Leanne (littlebunnylibrary) Hello all!

I have just joined this group. One of my aims for the coming year is to try and read more fiction, so I'm going to give 50 books a go! It will be challenging as I work full time, study part time, dance in a semi-professional belly dance troupe, all in addition to trying to spend time with my boyfriend, friends and family! But I want to get my work/read balance right! :)

At the moment I am reading His Dark Materials - I will probably only read Northern Lights in this trilogy, as I am reading it for another group on here, but we will see how much I enjoy it, maybe I will carry on :)

Happy reading!

Rose (obsessedreader9) | 215 comments Leanne, what did you think of The Red House Mystery? I've been on the lookout for this book a couple years.

Rose

Leanne (littlebunnylibrary) hello Rose,

it is an enjoyable read, although I wasn't particularly overwhelmed by it - you'll probably figure out the ending pretty quickly! I would have probably appreciated a bit more character development too.

Having just read this back I hope I haven't put you off it!

Leanne (littlebunnylibrary) #9 A Woman of No Importance by Oscar Wilde.

Definitely prefer his novels...

Leanne (littlebunnylibrary) #10 (finally into double figures!) Nostalgia, My Enemy by Saadi Youssef

Leanne (littlebunnylibrary) #12 Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky - a rather intense read but really worth it.

Leanne (littlebunnylibrary) #14 The Skinny Rules: The Simple, Nonnegotiable Principles for Getting to Thin

Sounds like a fad diet book, doesn't it? I really wish he'd picked a different title! It's a very informative book.

Leanne (littlebunnylibrary) #19 Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan

Think it's fair to say I'm not going to reach 50 by end of September! But I'll keep on trying till then :)
