I'm not sure what goes here, but I am sure what doesn't. This thread isn't for promo's etc. It is a place for links and comments about good articles (and discussion of those articles). It's information for the Indie-pub-er and the Corporate Puber intended to be helpful.

Since the advancing tide of e-pub technology does not look like it will be stopped, and it's wrecking havoc with the traditional paths to publishing, I thought what can be known should be known.

I'm no expert, this is just a place to share what experts and others know and experience about trying to get works written, published and then (egad!) read.

Oh, yes, there is supposed to be money involved somewhere right?

This has some really good information in it, and she has hyperlinked where she got much of her information from. She also shows us the actual numbers nad figures. I thought someone in the Member-Author sub-group might appriciate this.

Oh, and she is a GR member and has it listed, if you like it, you might want to find it on GR and give her a like (button push) too.

I think it's a myth... you know, where Bigfoot hides the remote for my television? The same place he stashes all of my money. (It's not like I have any idea where it all goes.)

Hold on to your HATS or appropriate head-gear. It's well past time to have another Featured Member Author Group Read. I appologize for taking so long to get organzied. I'll repost the rules for the Member-Author Group read participation...well, their really more guidlines anyway, and any changes we have found necessary after the first run of things.

Just a quick update on things... To be on the poll for a vote, your book has to be on the "list of books by member authors. (That presumes that I'll put your name on the Honor Roll too).

We will only put books on up for a vote if they are buy Members of A/A Aficionados.

Any members of A/A Aficionados, be they authors, readers or fans, may vote on the books. Run offs will be initiated as needed.

How about adding Blood Landby R.S. Guthrie? It just blasted it's way into Amazon's Top 100 Best Sellers in Mystery, Thriller & Suspense and has been hanging in there for three days now. It's $0.99 @ Kindle.

To my knowledgge R.S. Guthrie is not a member of the group. I would love to put him on the list, were he to join A/A Aficionados.

The book looks really good. (Can't argue with the price.)

He's got time to join though.

For those of you who are looking for ways to advertise your books, I came across this. I have not evaluated it and know nothing about these guys other than what it says on their website. You may want to check it out. They also have editing and publishing services for indie-authors.
