Winter Challenge 2012-2013: Completed Tasks with ?s/problems

It was fixed when I got there, so you're good! Thanks for letting me know, though.

I have your Readerboard name as OMA1229 rather than OMA122971. Which one would you like to use?
Sandra post 37
Just an FYI
I'm not sure how you counted James Rollins in your Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ Author totals, but if you use more than one book to achieve the 100 page threshold only 1 Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ author ticket will be awarded

That's what I thought also so I only counted 1 Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ author ticket. Thank you for confirming this for me!

If you are claiming a Big Book or Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ Author ticket you must specifically mention in your completed task post that a book is a Big Book and list the number of pages or that it was written by a Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ Author
It is not enough to provide a tally. As you update your tally we cannot tell the books you are claiming

Just for your records, option 2 for task 30.3 is a book set in Italy. Jam Thumbprints is option 4. Since A Trick of the Light works for Jam Thumbprints, there's no need to repost.

I assume you're claiming Rainshadow Road for Girl option 1 in task 20.7. No need to repost, just confirming that's what you meant....

Kristi, yes. I should have been a little more explicit. Sorry.

No, no need to repost as long as your records match the next update.

Thanks for the heads up, Rebecca.

Task 20.3 -- Remembering Tomorrow appears to be a book that exists only in ebook format. eBooks with no print version must be verified for length in the eBook verification thread.
Here are the posting requirements for ebooks: If you claim a book in Completed Tasks that exists ONLY in ebook format, you MUST provide a reference to the ebook verification document when you post ex."Approved @ line #" or provide the post number in the ebook verification thread where it was approved ex. "ebook Approved post #"
Please get approval for the ebook and then repost this task with the required information.

FYI -- It appears as if you've claimed task 25.9 twice in these two posts, but your total points and GRAs seem to be OK. Just check your records to make sure. No need to repost anything.

Task 15.3 -- Something Old, Something New: For Better or For Worse 1st Treasury is a collection of comic strips. The rules state:
Picture Books and collections of syndicated or internet comic strips or panels must be aggregated to at least 500 pages.
If you elect to use more than one book to achieve the 100 page threshold, all the books must fit the same aspect of the task. You may not mix and match options.

I'll read something else.

It should be OMA1229-so sorry about that.

I just realized that in post 148 I only put one book for the task instead of two. I'm not going to delete the post because I know we're not supposed to do that, but I will make the proper..."
Thanks for the heads up, Amanda. (And for not deleting the post ;-)).

Task 20.3, option 6 -- the task description says two or more "LA" letter sequences found within the title/subtitle or author's name. The Last Theorem as one LA in the title and one in the author's name.
You may want to ask Chris MD if that will work in the help thread. If she approves it, please repost the task.

Please list finished tasks in numerical order from smallest to largest. This makes record keeping much easier. Thanks!

Please confirm that this post is in reference to task 15.7. If not, please repost with the correct task number.
ETA - Never mind. I see your post 162 ;-)

Task 5.8 - The task description states read a book with an end of days genre on the main book page: Apocalyptic, Post Apocalyptic, Dying Earth.
The Twelve by William Gladstone does not have any of these genres on it's main page.

Please confirm that this post is in reference to task 15.7. If not, please repost with the correct task number.

Sorry-this is my first challenge and I am still trying to work it all out

No problem. It's pretty detail intense, I know. ;-)

Task 20.8 -- doesn't have an option 9 (or one requiring a yellow cover). Please repost with the correct task number.

Sorry I fail at life! It is task 20.9..... oops! I reposted. Thanks!

LOL... I wouldn't go quite that far, Erin. ;-) Just a wee typo.......

Task 25.3 -- REQUIRED: Include the letter count in your post (for Book B)

Sorry, I got confused cause the book fit both options 1 and 2 so I had to pick one and stuffed up, haha. Thanks for the heads up :)

It's there in the post. Here is a copy and paste from my post:

hope that helps.

It certainly is. Sorry about that, Jen! That's what I get for trying to verify books at midnight. Thanks! ;-)

Thanks, Dee!
Stefanie, please repost the task in the completed task thread with a link to the paperback version Dee's linked to above and any other required information needed for the task. That'll make record keeping easier. Thanks!

If you have questions about your points on the Readerboard:
1. Please check your math first!
2. Check to see if one of your posts is listed in this thread with a question. If so, please make a NEW POST in the Completed tasks thread to clear up the question. DO NOT go back and edit the original post. I will not go backwards in the completed task thread to pick up points.
3. To avoid further questions/problems, please refer to the TASK DESCRIPTIONS and the POSTING REQUIREMENTS.
Thank you for helping keep the record keeping for the challenge as manageable as possible.
