Good morning! I'm starting this week with a few of Lora Leigh shorts of her Bound Hearts series.

I'm reading the second of the Maeve Kerrigan mysteries from Jane Casey, The Reckoning. The first one was good, though a bit slow in places. But the second one is much faster moving. And there's a romance thread, so of course I'm totally on top of that:)

Kym | 206 comments When Beauty Tamed the Beast by Eloisa James - again. Just finished Sex, Murder, and a Double Latte by Kyra Davis which was very funny with interesting characters and a very twisty plot. Loved it!

Theresa Romain | 420 comments I'm rereading Connie Willis's Christmas stories--e-novellas, plus her "Miracle" collection. I love her writing; lots of wit and humor, but deep emotion too.

I am starting Angelfall by Susan Ee.

I am re-reading Halfway to the Grave, listening to Immortal in Death and waiting for tomorrow to get Heart of Atlantis.

Kym have fun with Eloisa's book, I love to re-read it :D

Sorry I have been absent for so long, school and PC problems :(

Phoenix77 | 346 comments I'm finishing Isabella Bradford's When the Duke Found Love and then I'm starting Stefanie Slone's The Scoundrel Takes a Bride.

Kym | 206 comments Just a question... How many times may I answer this question during the week? Since I LISTEN to most of my books, I don't have to put anything down to do something else unless it's something that needs to be read or heard. I'm on my 3rd for this week. There would have been at least one other by now, but I'm watching 3-4 episodes of Star Trek: Voyager on DVD almost every evening after dinner (yes, I'm a geek).

Kym, we pop in multiple times a week sometimes. Really we just chat about whatever we're reading and go organically from there. So have at it!

Valie, I'm curious about those Linda Howard/Linda Jones books. You'll have to tell me how you like it.

Aly, good to have you back! Your re-read of the KMM Fever series is what made me finally read them all.

How was Isabella Bradford's book? I was thinking on buying the first in that series but I need scoop on it first :D

Really Manda? So happy to hear it! Did you like them?

I was disappointed in the second and third books of the series (view spoiler) but the first book was OK. I'd probably wait to see if they are available as library books rather than buying them.

Oh... I'll think about that then, thanks :)

Irisheyes | 896 comments I'm trying to find engaging Christmas books. I'm just about finished with Anna Campbell's The Winter Wife: A Christmas Novella. A quick very satisfying read and my favorite kind of reunion story.

Mary Balogh's A Family Christmas from her Under the Mistletoe collection is similar in theme and I just love that one.

Loved them! I was so glad I'd waited until the whole series was out though. The cliffhangers would have killed me. Haven't read ICED yet for that very reason.

I've reread all of Carla Kelly's Christmas stories plus Marian's Christmas Wish and Mrs. Drew Plays Her Hand. I'm in the process of rereading Balogh's A Christmas Bride which I love. Kelly and Balogh and Jo Beverley's Winter Fire are my go-to historical rereads each Christmas.

Among new books, I've been reading a lot of categories. I highly recommend the January releases from Sarah Mayberry and Janice Kay Johnson. I also loved The Marriage Campaign, the conclusion to Karen Templeton's Summer Sisters trilogy. I like the whole series. Currently I'm reading a wonderful historical that will be released January 29: How to Entice an Earl. You guys may know the author, Manda Collins. LOL I've been seriously in love with this hero since I first met him quite a while ago.

Theresa Romain | 420 comments Courtney Milan just uploaded The Duchess War everywhere. I am reorganizing my evening to fit. :)

Kym | 206 comments Finished Passion, Betrayal, and Killer Highlights by Kyra Davis and am now listening to Highland Surrender by Tracy Brogan. The latter is set in the 1500s, which is an earlier time period than usual for me. I don't know why I don't read more set in the early to mid renaissance, since I love going to Renaissance Faires and Festivals. Even used to go in costume with a kilted man at my side! :)

Kym | 206 comments I started Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton on Audible. It's over 20 hours, so guess it will take a couple of days. I'm liking it so far. I think there's romance in there somewhere. It covers 1913 to 1975.
