So, I am reading Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick and i really can't get into, so if anyone can tell me something about the book i would like that.

Cousin. She's some kind of distant of cousin of mine - like, a grandchild of my grandma's cousin or something, that sort of thing.

I thought it was short for cousin, personally I use cuz or cuzzes (if plural).
