That's a very impressive ambitious goal. You've made a great start keeping up with it for 3 months. I'm just trying to finally get to 100 books for the year and you're already up to 79!
I have no life so reading (and sometimes cross stitch) is all I do hence 365 books in one year. I don't think I've ever gone over 300 so we'll see.
I'm most blown by the 39 books read in February, that's more than a book per day. You're such a machine Barbara. Amazing. =D
Luckily my job is slow as crap right now and I can read during the day. So I read most of a book during work hours and finish it at night and start something else immediately. Therefore 39 books in a 28 day month.

It's hard to do both at once, so one hobby usually suffers for the other. lol I have tried listening to books on tape while I stitch but have only managed that for Harry Potter books (as a reread since I'd read them first).
Yay Barbara - somebody beat me! I blame mine on the commute (an hour each way on the bus). And my flatmate's mother does the housework, so my day at home is spent lying on the couch reading, with TV on in the background.
