What do you think about the Dursley family? Before or after the books.
How was their relationship with the Potters before James and Lily dies?
Does Harry reconnect with Dudley after the last book?
Do the Dursleys ever accept magic, and does Dudley maybe even have a magical kid?

Please comment if you have an opinion, i have my own, but i'll wait to say them until i know if this is going to be active...

I don't fully like them but I don't hate them either knowing that they took in Harry when he had nowhere to go. I don't hate Aunt Petunia as much I did. And in the last book Dudley did surprise me and I think Harry does reconnect with Dudley. Sure they're not the best of friends, but they don't hate each other either. I don't think the Dursleys will ever fully accept magic but they won't be against it either

I feel like it was good that they went along with the plan to be moved for their protection. As seen in some books, Petunia is kind of reminded of her magic connections and isn't as evil as she seems. She keeps the family between total magic haters and whatnot and magic believers. Dudley and Harry didn't reconnect, I don't think, because I think Dudley always felt that way and just didn't want to express his real feelings towards Harry. Like he said in the last book, he never hated Harry, it was just the influence from his parents and the liking of being a powerful bully that made him seem like the antagonist.

I don't understand what you mean by 'Dudley always felt that way and just didn't want to express his real feelings towards Harry'. Do you mean that Dudley always felt that way about magic? And if Dudley's feelings towards Harry were that he didn't think Harry was horrible, then wouldn't he have maybe reconnected with Harry maybe once in the future?
