So here are my favourites - in no particular order :

Jojo Moyes - mostly because her books always make me cry..and i love a good cry to be honest! My most favourite of her books is The Girl You Left Behind by Jojo Moyes - a proper tear jerker for me!

Audrey Niffenegger - The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger and Her Fearful Symmetry by Audrey Niffenegger - i've read both these books a number of times and i always find things i didnt finds the first time or the second or the third lol

Joanne Harris - for Chocolat (Chocolat, #1) by Joanne Harris and Five Quarters of the Orange by Joanne Harris - both perfect reads for me on a rainy day!

I have a few more but will wait to hear other peoples :)....

Tracy (tracyface) I LOVE Diana Gabaldon... the Outlander (Outlander, #1) by Diana Gabaldon series is one of my all-time favorites, and I'm constantly rereading them!

Karen Marie Moning is another favorite... The Fever Series 5-Book Bundle Darkfever, Bloodfever, Faefever, Dreamfever, Shadowfever by Karen Marie Moning is another one of my favorites...

My all-time favorite book is East of Eden by John Steinbeck by John Steinbeck... I haven't read it in awhile, so it may be time for a reread!

Tracy (tracyface) You're also a member of Our Novel Escape, right Kate? I think we'll be doing a Buddy Read of the Outlander series sometime around May or June if you'd like to join us! :-)

I'll definately join in with that one then - I really like Our Novel Escape - at least one group that doesn't confuse me!

Well i know Agatha Christie but other than that in the dark ...l am trying lately to improve on my reading choices and maybe be a little more high brow - or intellectual you might say lol

Dean MacAllister (deanmacallister) Yeah...mine are very eclectic. Long fantasy series, then murder mystery...then Sci-fi...then non-fiction...etc. Like to mix it up. Like when I travel..jungle, desert, then city, diving reefs, then snow...and so on and so on.

Judy (judylou) | 11 comments Whenever I am asked for a list of favourites I can never remember a single name! But I like to read from many genres and will read fantasy, sci fi, general fiction, literature and classics at times. My current book lust is for zombie books (how embarrassing!)

message 10: by Dean (new)

Dean MacAllister (deanmacallister) Zombies are alive and well...well no...I mean...nothing wrong with a love of Zombies. My wife and I are mad zombie fans. Zombieland is one of our favourite movies too.

i love a bit of zombie action!! Walking Dead season 3 has been put on some weird channel over here in England that i don't have so will have to wait for the box set :( I have to admit though that it's not the zombies i love in Walking Dead - it's Rick - the main policeman guy - yum yum lol
I also love Shaun of the Dead :)
My son is into Zom-B (Zom-B, #1) by Darren Shan - he went to a book signing recently and all the staff in the shop were zombied up and playing the part - was great !

Going back to the zombie theme earlier - i wastched 'Warm Bodies' and it was so good - although my teenage son was unconvinced and rolled his eyes at the thought of zombies being cured by love lol
I think i will read it Warm Bodies (Warm Bodies, #1) by Isaac Marion now :)

Craig Jarvis (cj76) | 12 comments Just downloaded "US" on iBooks read about 20 or so pages and it's started off pretty funny. I must confess that I haven't read any if his previous books so if this one carries on as it's started I'll have another back catalogue to work through :-)

I absolutely Love Kazuo Ishiguro (Remains if the day/Never let me go)so have been excitedly waiting for The Buried Giant which is his first book in a decade !! I started it a couple of days ago and it is hauntingly strange! I would love to discuss it if anyone else fancies giving it a read.

Terry ~ Huntress of Erudition Hi Kate! I put that on my To Read list, but I don't know when I will get to it....
