Danie Yes!!

I'm kind of sarcastic so people say I'm mean but then I try to be nice but it's like they have already made up there mind and won't change it.

message 2: by Sierra (new)

Sierra (skippingstones4) Lately I've felt kind of like I've had to wear a mask...I feel like I have to be strong for everybody and I usually can be, but lately things haven't been the same...

message 3: by Heidi (new)

Heidi Angell (heidiangell) Sierra, I know that feeling! Masks can be good and help us to cope, but if we wear one we aren't suited for, or wear one for too long it can be daunting.

I wear different masks all the time, but at the end of the day I take some time to just be me.

Jessy, thanks for your kindness to all of us, and your willingness to help others. You are a gem!

I ware a mask...

message 5: by [deleted user] (new)

not really....

message 6: by Marissa (new)

Marissa (packer_badger_fan93) | 7 comments I wear a different mask almost daily... I usually get emotional really easy, so it's easier for me to just blow whatever is happening off. I tune it out. I don't do anything bad, but sometimes I feel like doing something bad. I'm not that kind of person though. I tell myself everyday before I go to bed "Don't complain about this or that. You've got plenty of things to be thankful for. You've got both parents who have been together nearly 25 years, you've got a house to live in, you've got food to eat, you've got pets that mean the world to you, you've got a lot of things that people would trade anything for, 85% of the time you get what you want, ect, ect." This isn't to rub in anyone's face so please don't take it that way. Just know that the darkest nights bring out the brightest stars. I've gone through some really, really tough things in my own life too, and some things continue to be really tough. Along with Jessy, I'll be here for anyone that needs to vent, talk, or needing someone to sit down and listen. I'm not on as much as I'd like, but please don't let that make you not come to me. :) *peace, love, and happiness*

i'm the same! and people think i'm big headed cos i tend to show off about myself a bit, but actually i really hate myself. it's so easy to judge people, but so wrong

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) honestly everyone hates themselves sometimes, its just life.

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) me? no i'm fine thanks though

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

I do most of the time, though sometimes it fails, but the whole " I am just tired" thing pulls over easily for me.

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

Bye, and no problem.

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes. I wear a mask of happiness. I laugh when people tease me, and act all crazy at school, theN i go home and cry. I wear a mask until I'm all alone, then the words said to me in the day haunt me.

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

I always ware a happy mask ^^

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

I do...

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) ditto for me

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) cheerleading and dance team oh and step team

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) look it up on youtube, It will be better then me explaining it to you.

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) They do a little dancing.

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) LOL it is cool, and most people have, but they just don't know what it's called.

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) No, I did it when I was in middle school, and high school, but not anymore. And yes it is so cool I love it.

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) Yep, but I'm sure you can, it just takes practice, I wasn't the best when I started.

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) It's basically a cheerleading team, but without Cheering, so that means you have to try out.

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) And they usually do them at schools.

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) Yeah just type in step team, a lot of them will come up, so you can get a idea of what it is.

Summer (wildskf) Jessy wrote: "Ever feel like you wear a mask? Where you are really sad, angry, or lost in depair behind the mask and force a smile on the outside? Are you feeling that way now?"

... I know people think I'm weird. I read a lot about all kinds of things, so I have a reputation for being a "walking encyclopedia" ... I'm not very good at conversation so I talk about the things I read- science stuff, history stuff, philosophical stuff. People say I'm smart and interesting, but they avoid me like they are scared. I wear a mask like I don't care, but sometimes I feel like a space alien.

;n;

I'm so glad there's a place where we can talk about all this.

Julia, dude call me JJ yup! when I see teargas I do!

(( that was a.. army joke but ok!!))

message 28: by Summer (new)

Summer (wildskf) Julia And maybe they'd be happy for a while wrote: "yup! when I see teargas I do!"

@jessy it's the usual 9th grade reason. I swear if I see another record book I will scream!!!!

message 35: by [deleted user] (new)

Practical record book.... The thing in which we write down what all we do in science labs....

message 36: by [deleted user] (new)

It's ok I'm getting used to this drained feeling...
We had a cultural dance in 6th grade for our annual day . We had to wear a lot of eye makeup and head gear and since ours was a Chinese dance , a pink gown full sleeve with a flowery edge with covered our hands to ( I looked soooo funny))

message 37: by [deleted user] (new)

I used the costume later as a night gown :P

All my problems seem to disappear when I read or play music on my flute, sing, or clarinet. I go into a different world. A much better world!

Roxanne Shriver (roxannexshriver) I put on a mask when I'm upset by something. I don't cuss often, but when I'm upset I hide my real feelings and act like a total bitch. :(
