Nowadays it is a gamble to buy true crime books because the system on amazon is so corrupt. If a book has many 5 stars ratings it still does not mean a thing anymore. Authors/publishers pay money so people write great reviews, or do it themselves.

I asked because I had to spend a 20 euro coupon before the end of March and I wanted to buy some true crime, books from 2010 and newer. What I bought:
Limb from Limb. 2009 (I had this on my wish list for a long time and stupid me forgot to check this one, so if you say it is bad, I can still cancel the order.



Deadly Little Secrets by Kathryn Casey



and last A Season of Darkness by Doug Jones 2010



I have 1.5 day at least to cancel any or all.

I loved this book by Casey.I enjoy all of her work.
