I hoping for a great Divergent movie :) My only fears: a.) they will completely butcher the plot like in Percy Jackson and b.) there will be a book fandom and a movie fandom like the Hunger Games. You?

I hope they dont mess it up, but really i gave up even hoping that the movies turn out good cause really they never will be because they can never compete with ur imagination

The actress for Tris is the girl from The Secret Life Of An American Teenager. Not sure if she will be able to grasp Tris's character.

movie comes out in 2014ish but they started filming earlier this month!

Every time they make a movie out of a book i loved: 1) i get super excited and have WAY to high expectations 2) not at all what i imagined the characters and scenes would look like 3) annoys the heck out of me when they totally butcher the plot (Percy Jackson)

does any body else find it slightly strange that in Divergent the actors of Caleb and Tris are siblings but in The Fault in Our Stars they are dating?

I didn't know that. Would be super rare go to the cinema and see like a couple and later like brother and sister. They have to be such a good actors go order to make me believe in both stories...

meh I dont think I'll watch it, they're just going to make the movie so that it appeals to the general. not according to how the author made it.

I don't think I'm going to watch it either. The moment I saw that the Secret life girl would be Tris I lost hope, and then after checking out the rest of the cast I have given up on it- I am not ready to see one of my favorite series ever be slaughtered!!!!!!

March 21st 2014 is SOOO far away! I really don't want to get my hopes up for the adaption (I mean look at The Lightning Thief Movie) but Divergent is my third favourite series and I just can't help but be uber excited. Added that even though Theo James looks nothing like Four in my opinion, I love him too much to really care.

Divergent was a really 3-star book for me, but when I was reading it I noticed it would make some pretty cool action scenes! Hope they do it well.

I watched the movie a few days ago and absolutely loved it! They did change a few things, but overall it stayed pretty close to the book.

Nope, no Uriah. You can see his name briefly on the rankings but that's about it. Another problem is there isn't very much character development, but otherwise it's super good.

Am I the only one who doesn't really like shailene woodley and is kind of disappointed that she is playing tris and hazel? I think she looks a little old for the roles..

I know!!! I'm ok with her as Hazel but I really just didn't think she fit the role of Tris

im a bit iffy on that, the actor is super cute but i kind of imagined him a bit more bad boyish but if i ignore that I think the movie will turn out ok
