I was rec'd IDW, but I'm not sure that I'll read it this month... You are all scaring me ;)

Breann | 398 comments Don't be scared! ;) They're both fantastic books!!

message 304: by Dee (new)

Dee (austhokie) | 7316 comments ok, Nancy - are you ready???

I gave you 4 books for each category, with at least 1 from to-read and 2 new to you. So hopefully you find one or more that works...

1. Jill Shalvis/Pamela Clare
Forged in Fire - this seems to be equally shelved as RomSus and Paranormal, I went with the RomSus shelving...BR if you are interested?
Priced to Move* - sounds different
The You I Never Knew* - new to you author, our Featured Author and BR if you are interested...(apparently this is on Mt TBR somewhere...)
Outside the Lines - lite romance, but a good read

Lisa Klepyas/Gail Carriger
The Iron Duke
Grave Mercy - umm, assassin nuns, need I say more (has some lite fantasy, but nothing major)
The Potato Factory* - Bryce Courtenay is one of my favorite authors, it was a sad day when he died
And Only to Deceive*

Lara Adrian/Patricia Biggs
Wicked Harvest - this was something really unique PNR wise I thought - I need to read some more of the series
No Mercy - she was formerly an Army Sniper
Visions of Heat - I saw you had read the first one, and said maybe to continuing the series - they get better with each book IMHO
Mother Nature* - I'd be intrigued to get back into this series

4. Lorelei James/Amy Lane
Faith & Fidelity - my first m/m and still one of my favorites
Country Mouse - a few of us are reading this in May as a BR, if you want to join in
For Her Pleasure*
Hot in Here*

so there you have it - I hope one or more of these works for you ;)

Thanks, Dee. These look great! I can't decide where to start because there are so many good ones. I think I will try to find (dig out of my massive shelves, that is!) The You I Never Knew since that is the featured author and also since I was going to read it earlier and just never got to it. But so many of the others sound good - I'm sure I won't be able to stop with just one - sort of like potato chips!!

Thanks for a great job!

I finished Let's Hear it for the Boy this morning too, and loved it. It didn't have quite as much of an emotional kick to me as I was expecting, but I think that's only because I was well prepared for it. Great story though - thanks for the recommendation, Kat - the first of MANY I plan to read this month, too! :D

Tiff TowelsandHearts (towelsandhearts) | 291 comments Ruth Ann- Just finished Twisted Perfection a few minutes ago. ~KarenH~ | 11085 comments I finished Heartless this morning, my second pick for this month. I don't know what exactly it is about this series but it really intrigues me, and the narrator for the audio version, Emily Gray, is excellent. I can't wait to get to the final book in the series, but I guess I'm going to have to wait at least until next month! Thanks for another great pick, Kat!

Geez - I just have to put these books into my challenges, but I get so distracted! ;) I think I'll start back in the beginning though - it's ages since I read Soulless...

So pleased the selection is working out so far Kat :)

I'm up to Nexus as well Katie. Sinnerman was a great addition to the series, but the next one is heading out of SF into demon territory again I think :( I'll just have to hope they don't go underground.

Just finished my first pick It's Just Sext (The Right Kind of Wrong, #1) by Felice Fox I don't know how I feel about this one since I hardly got the chance the develop an opinion as the book was so small.. but the book was going pretty well. I finished up my third pick for this month, When Beauty Tamed the Beast. I really enjoyed this one! I haven't read much historical romance lately. I did read The Reckless Bride the other day, which drove home just how over Stephanie Laurens I am. I can't wait to read the rest of this series. Thanks for another great pick! 4 stars

ETA: Also just finished Other People's Weddings. Short and cute...3 stars.

Fran | 12231 comments Hey Brandilyn,

I finished Into Deep Waters and really enjoyed it. Thanks for suggesting it. It was lingering on my tbr for quite awhile. I think Breann tried to get me to read it too, LOL- it was time! I loved how the story spanned a long period of time in a short number of pages. I am a sucker for a complete picture like that, it's rare and I love it :)

Kaje has this way of making me feel way too many emotions in so little pages. She does it to me every time.

message 346: by Dee (new)

I FINALLY finished some recommended books this month. I've been really behind because real life is cutting into my kindle time. GRRR.

But I finished Second Time Lucky by Ethan Day , and really enjoyed it. I've never read anything by Ethan Day before, so I'll have to check out more of his stuff.

I also finished Divide & Conquer (Cut & Run, #4) by Abigail Roux . I can't believe it had taken me so long to get into the series, but I have been loving IT! You recommend the first one to me in March and I haven't looked back. This was soooo good. I was upset at the end though. I've been listening to them on audio and can't find the next one on audible so I have no idea what I'm going to do! LOL, I have to find out what happened next!

Thanks once again for the great rec. I'm going to try to get some more of these done by the end of the month. I think I'll go on to Head Over Heels (Lucky Harbor, #3) by Jill Shalvis next.

I keep looking, but no sign of them coming out! The first four came out all at once - I think. At least close together. I think we may have to switch to reading rather than listening though. =(

Hope you enjoy Head Over Heels, I really like that series. They are just feel good comfort food for me!

message 350: by Sassafrass (new)

Sassafrass (sass-a-frass) | 4177 comments MK, I just went looking on google. It looks like the series switched publishers between book 5 and book 6. Dreamspinners did books 1-5 and Riptide is doing the later books. On Dreamspinners website it shows that book 5 came out on audio 5/1/13. They have it on their site, so maybe audible will pick it up soon.

I think I may wait to see if audible picks it up in the next couple of weeks. I have a bunch of credits so I don't want to pay for an audiobook if I don't have to, but if they don't get it by then I will have to do it, I think.

Downside though is that I don't see any audiobooks on riptide's website. :( So, they may not be getting any any time soon.
