Starting this week with Bound by C. K. Bryant.

Theresa Romain | 420 comments Just finished Bossypants by Tina Fey. For quite a change of pace, now reading Sinner's Heart by Zoe Archer. I've really enjoyed her Hellraisers books and this one has a very unusual heroine, to say the least.

Irisheyes | 896 comments Finished up BLACKBERRY SUMMER and WOODROSE MOUNTAIN and now halfway through SWEET LAUREL FALLS by Raeanne Thayne. I'm really enjoying them. My only quibble is that I wish she would spend a little more time on the romantic relationships. Otherwise it's a great series. I love Hope's Crossing and all of its residents. I love the stories she's telling too.

Not sure what's up next. Probably CURRANT CREEK VALLEY to continue on with the series.

I'm going to start Lord of Darkness by Elizabeth Hoyt today.

Irish, I'm reading Willowleaf Lane (June 25 release) today, and so far the focus is largely on the romance, although there are a couple of other threads woven into the story. I like it, but I like other books in the series better. Next up is Caroline Linden's Love and Other Scandals (July 30).

Phoenix77 | 346 comments I just started A Beastly Scandal by Shereen Vedam. After that is A Wedding in Springtime by Amanda Forester.

message 7: by Jackie Lynn (new)

Jackie Lynn (romancenovlover) Covet by J.R. Ward... I hope i'm not dissapointed!

It's funny, Janga, usually when I have a niggle about a book I have specific things I want to change. But with RT's Hope's Crossing books I wouldn't change anything, but I would add another 100 or so pages and dig deeper into the romances. The other things I look for in a series are all there - interesting people to care about, well defined setting/place, good meaty stories, and lots of peripheral relationships that all mesh.

Jacquelyn, I love that series, I am sure you will too.

message 10: by Deborah (new)

Deborah (dlecroybeaver) I've been dabbling in the Cynster Series for the last couple of weeks. I would read one in between reading other books, but I've decided that I HAVE to read them all NOW and in ORDER. I may not resurface for awhile. I'm on Book 3: Scandal's Bride.

About to read the Montlake rereleases of Alissa Johnson.
Are there other books only Montlake has released as Ebooks that I should be looking for?

message 15: by Junek (new)

Junek | 54 comments I have started in on Sylvia's Lot by Teresa Waugh, light, amusing and very well written. The author is new to me, she reminds me lots of Mary Wesley.

message 16: by Susan (new)

Susan (susaninaz) | 1075 comments I just finished Emily and Einstein. It was a cheap e-book a few weeks ago, as well as highly recommended by Eloisa James. I liked that one very much. Next up is Christina Dodd's Wilder

Mary - Buried Under Romance (bur2012) | 12 comments I read quite a few traditional regencies, now waiting for Lord of Wicked Intentions and What a Lady Needs.

I've been reading a Cork, Ireland set mystery, A Terrible Beauty this week. I loved the setting and the heroine and the mystery itself was fascinating, but it was far too graphic with violence and villain POV. I might try another one but not for a long while.

I've been reading Alyssa Johnson's first series which while not up to the level of her most recent 3 books has still been a lot of fun. Thanks to Janga I've also been reading Margaret Marin's Deborah Knott books.

Just finished Nora Roberts The Law is a lady, really enjoyed this light-hearted romance. Now reading The Witness by same author, love her books.
