This is where you can post & discuss any upcoming releases you may be excited about.

I'll compile all the titles in one convenient list in this thread.

Besides all the books I've been so patiently waiting for in my series - I'm most excited about Black and White to come out in June. It's about super heros in training. It is completely different from anything I've read before & looks very interesting.

Less then 20 days until the next Sookie book comes out! I'm SO curious how the kid's going to be incorporated into the story now.

Lily (lilithesque) I was looking at your list of new releases. Wow. I did notice one mistake. On your list of new releases, Doomsday can Wait is actually book two in that series. I beleive the first was Any given Deoomsday, a really good book. That may not have been the title but I read it.

That is an exhaustive list. Wow. I have to start sorting my tbr list into must read soon, should read soon, plan to read someday, might read, and planned to read but never got to it--but might yet get to it.

Thanks Lily - I fixed it.

I've got my books sorted fairly similar. I keep changing my mind though so it's not helping much :)

Unapologetic_Bookaholic Demonica Book(s) 4 and 5. It is my most fave series right now. It is a tie between Demonica and Night Huntress b/c I really like Cat and Bones as a couple. Plus the worlds are really fascinating.

Unapologetic_Bookaholic The Phoenix Chronicles(Any Given Doomsday byLori Handeland) was also a nice debut to a series. I am looking forward to that as well. I am behind on a couple new releases as it is, lol.

Aaaahhh - The cliff hanger endings. I really like the Morganville Vamp series but I'm growing to HATE their endings!

Hayley | 4 comments I can't wait for Blood Promise to come out!!
... and for Dead Girls Dance to get delivered!!
I agree with Shanon, i've only read Glass Houses but the cliffhanger ending is killing me!
Are they all like that??

message 18: by Shanon (new)

Shanon (boban) | 1166 comments Mod
Most of them are extreme cliffhangers (if my memory serves me right). BUT the last one was the worst yet.

message 19: by Hayley (new)

Hayley | 4 comments Oh god, I have that to look forward to then.
Can ya tell me one thing, in the second one does Michael get hurt at the begining??? :(

I read the first 4 one right after the other - in the space of a week or so - I don't remember specifics about each. Sorry. Guess you'll just have to read it and see huh ;)

Angie (angiefox) | 3 comments I'm looking forward to the new Sookie book (have had it on preorder for months now) and also Karen Marie Moning has a new Fever book coming out in October. I love that series. The problem is that I can read those books in a weekend and then I'm back to waiting for the next one. Sigh!

Laura | 3 comments I'm looking forward to a million sequels: Sookie, City of Soul by Vicki Petterson, Lover Avenged, Hunting Ground,Blood Promise, and Destined for an Early Grave, although I was disappointed by Grave's End...it had that middle of the series slump IMO...

Magic in the blood sounds good::will you do a review?

message 31: by Shanon (new)

I try to write reviews for all the books I've read this year. I'm behind on a couple and I'm not too deep of a thinker so they're not inspirational reviews - but I will definately write up something about Magic in the Blood.

It is the 2nd in the series. The first, Magic to the Bone, was really good. Here's my review for that one: http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/....

message 35: by Kristen (new)

Kristen Harvey Vacations from Hell is coming out this week or the next.. and I still haven't asked my library to buy it! Also, at the end of next month Once Dead, Twice Shy comes out - Kim Harrison's start to her new YA series.. can't freaking wait.

Kim Harrison is one of my favorite authors! I can't wait for that series either. There is a sneak peak (whatever that means :) ) for Once Dead Twice Shy in Prom Nights from Hell. I haven't read it yet but will be next month.

J.D. Stroube Here are a few books I am looking forward to that come out between now and December!

"Full Moon" and "Dark of the Moon" by Rachel Hawthorne. They are a part of a new series that involve werewolves!
Blood Promise-Richelle Mead This is one of the best series I have ever read, and I am going out of my mind waiting for the next book!
Den of Shadows Quartet by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes Most of her books involve vampires. I've read every single book she has ever written and have never been disappointed!
Tempted by P.C. Cast Vampires, vampires, vampires LOL This is an awesome series.
First Lords Fury by Jim Butcher This series is fantasy not paranormal, but it is too good to leave off of this list!

I have 4 books coming out this month that I'm excited to read - it's going to be a very busy summer!

Once Dead, Twice Shy
Skin Trade
Carpe Corpus
Succubus Heat

message 40: by Kristen (new)

Kristen Harvey I just finished Once Dead, Twice Shy last night... SOOOOOO good. :)

message 41: by Melodie (new)

Melodie (melodieco) Dead and Gone was WONDERFUL!! Once Dead, Twice Shy was better than the Rachel Morgan books, so I'll try the 2nd one. I have Skin Trade on the way, but am thinking I should have saved my $$ as I've read bad reviews. I haven't read an Anita Blake book in awhile because I got tired of them having essentially no story line anymore. Thought this one sounded like it might have one, but apparently it doesn't. Carpe Corpus arrived today, so I'll start it this evening since I didn't get to at lunch.

message 42: by Dori (new)

Dori (adorible) | 17 comments I finished Carpe Corpus yesterday--it was great of course :) I'm looking forward to Blood Promise (Vampire Academy 4), Cape Storm (Weather Warden 8), and Fade Out. Meanwhile, I'm going to try to catch up on my TBR shelf.

I finished
Carpe Corpus (The Morganville Vampires, #6) by Rachel Caine Thursday night and loved it! If she wanted to end the series here she could, but I'm glad she's not doing that!
