ilovebakedgoods (Teresa) (ilovebakedgoods) | 226 comments Mini-Challenge #13: Location Covers

Find and post two book covers that depict your favorite holiday destination. Be sure they show a distinct location or icon monument.

I've only been there once, but I took a day trip to Bruges, Belgium when I lived in England. It remains one of my fondest memories. I would love to go back. Everyone was so friendly and of course, Belgian chocolate is to die for. Plus, real Belgian waffles can't be beat! I am choosing one of these covers because it is the screenplay for one of my favorite movies and it shows a few landmarks for the city and I'm choosing the other because Bruges is well-known for its tapestries, plus the cover shows a canal, which is another thing the city is known for. I believe the canals are why it is considered to be "Little Venice."

In Bruges A Screenplay by Martin McDonagh The Bruges Tapestry by P.A. Staes

If you ever have the opportunity to go to Belgium, do it! And stop by Bruges if you can. I'm telling you, they are some of the friendliest people on the planet (or at least, the parts of the planet I've traversed, hehe).

Come on! Work with me here! I was trying to prepare the ground to ask for few points in RaT for all the suffering I'm going through here.

Turtlecollector Dennis | 1164 comments Sorry, just because I think it was funny doesn't mean you aren't suffering.
