Welcome to folders 101 we have a lot of folders and it may seem a bit confusing figuring out the method behind the madness hopefully this will provide you with a depiction of what is in each folder.
Announcements : This folder is where you will find any important announcements from the mods, a little background on each of the mods as well as the nomination and winner’s for BOM and AOM.
Author of the Month : This folder discusses the books by a specific author that has been nominated and chosen by the group. More details about the AOM can be found here
Book(s) of the Month: Each month the group selects 3 books (two are either UF or PNR and one is Young Adult) to read and discuss. Members can choose to read all of the books, one or two books, or none. Members nominate a book each months and the winner is chosen from random.org. When posting opinions on the book please be sure to use spoiler tags.

General Book Talk: This is the thread for the “What Are You Reading Now� folder as well as other discussions about books.
Let’s talk about this�: This is the thread for general chit chat sometimes about books sometimes about other things in short this is the place to post topics that just do not fit anywhere else.
New Release: This is the thread for information about new releases and where you can discuss what you are looking forward to reading and perhaps find a person who like to read it with you. (Hint: See the Member Buddy Reads folder explanations listed below)
Member Buddy Reads: Sometimes you do not want to read a book alone or it is better to read it with a friend well this is the thread to make it happen!
Challenges: Challenges are a lot of fun and a great way to get a few books off of the TBR list over course if you are like me you will find books to also add to your list! For anyone who wants to participate in a reading challenges we have a few: the Monthly Challenge challenge changes each month, if the monthly is too much or you want to do more we have challenges that run for 2-6 Month Challenge and last but not least we have challenges that run all year long for the Yearly Challenge
PNR Writers: This is the thread where we discuss PNR writers and their books, we try to keep each section by the name of the author instead of the name of each book.
Urban Fantasy Writers: In this thread we discuss UF authors and their books, again we try to keep each section by the name of the author instead of the name of each book.
Young Adult: In this thread we discuss books written by Young Adult authors who write paranormal books.
Science Fiction: This thread is dedicated to science fiction authors that our members have read.
Self Promotion: This folder has its own set of rules. This is where people can promote their own books, a new group they have, a new book that's coming out, etc... PLEASE DON'T SPAM!! Any actively participating member of the group feel free to promote, but please do not join just to advertise.
Archives These are the folders where you will find old topics. All of the old threads from any BOM or AOM are found here as well. We have tried to keep them somewhat neat by separating them by year: 2013,2011-2012, 2009-2010
We welcome the members to create a new thread or poll about anything, BUT please do not create new folders! I hope you will find this to be helpful as opposed to more confusing!
If you are feeling lost or unsure feel free to ask. The members here are awesome and are always willing to help out. Please also feel free to ask any of the mods: Alisa, Dawn, Lisarenee or Sandra.
