Kenzie London | 2 comments New to this genre and I am one book shy of finishing The Chesapeake Diaries. Would someone suggest any other series like this. I really did the feeling of embedding myself in the community of The Chesapeake Diaries.

Jane (PS) | 23992 comments Welcome to the group Kenzie. I'm sorry I can't make a rec based off The Chesapeake Diaries since I haven't read them... But maybe you should check out the books by Robyn Carr, Susan Mallery and Barbara Freethy :) (I have to admit I haven't read them either, but they get good reviews and I'm guessing the style is similar.)

Dee (austhokie) | 7316 comments i haven't read Chesapeake Diaries - but community wise, I agree with Jane on Robyn Carr, Susan Mallery ...you could possibly throw in Debbie Macomber. Nora Roberts also has lots of trilogies that are very close family type books - I like the Garden series, and Blood Brothers

Mary (I ♥ Books) | 17 comments Hey Kenzie. I haven't read the Chesapeake series but I think you might enjoy Virgin River series by Robyn Carr. I haven't read it but I have heard great things about. I just started Jill Shalvis' Lucky Harbor series and I like it so far. It's set in a small town in Washington state.
