I didn't mind either, and I think they did their bit in making vampires popular again. However, they're definitely not my favourite vampires around. Must say, I was definitely Team Jacob, but not because I thought Bella deserved to have either choice, but because I wanted my boy Jacob to get whatever he damned well wanted to.
Oh, and favourite book of the series was the last - only because I got to spend time in Jacob's head.

That is just my opinion, but I think it killed the true "Vampire" genre for the next generation. Interview w/ a Vampire, Queen of the Damned, Lost Boys, etc,.. These showed the vampire as both tortured, but also as the vicious, cruel animals they truly can be.
But I am Team Jacob.. Even though being 31.. looking at a 17 year old without a shirt on makes me feel creepy. Hehe
Norma - feel your pain on that last point - but just can't help it. He's got such a nice chest!
And have to agree with number 3 on your list. She always looks like she's acting for a laxative commercial.

Yes, yes he does... Quite beautiful... Considering he closer to my daughter's age... Creepy. LOL! She does! I never could place that look, but you nailed it, constipated!

I LOVED Carlisle! He was amazing and handsome, and authoritative. Edward rubbed me the wrong way with this self-loathing and junk. You are a vamp, dude, love it, live it, and flash it... And stop whining! Another negative for me... VAMPS don't sparkle in light.. they burst into flame! The only thing in life that should be that sparkly is a wedding/engagement ring/bracelet/necklace.
