In the book "The Last Straw" by Jeff Kinney Gregg has to be sent to a military academy according to his father. In the book Gregg says "Mom didn't help Dads idea either" My reaction to this is that Gregg might want to have a normal popular kid middle school life. I wonder why Gregg dosn't want to be like Rowley. Sometimes I think Gregg wants everything to be his way. But I think that's exactly what makes the book funny. On the other hand the dad isn't much different. He kind of wants the best. And the best isn't what Gregg likes. So there's so much conflict there. If I were Gregg I would react kind of like Gregg,but not like the trying-to-be-cool way.
