We have been considering starting an online book discussion group that would be accessed through our main GoodReads group. This would run a lot like our in-branch groups where our coordinator (in this case, Book Group Clerk Lisa P.) would facilitate discussion on a different book each month(?) with a specific day (or week) dedicated to discussion of the title everyone read that month. What we're curious is... how interested would you all be in this service? Do you have initial thoughts/comments/concerns about the project? Part of it will be diving right in and seeing how it works and correcting from there, but with the great discussion we are getting right now, a book group seems like an excellent next step!

I'm game!

I'm a part of a couple other reading groups, so I would be happiest with one book a month with more than one day for discussion (a week, a weekend, etc).

I think that would be great! I am always looking for ways to share my thoughts about books I've read, but the traditional bookclubs don't always meet at a convenient time. I like the idea of having a week to post comments.
