Louise A while ago,I suggested our bookclub could just bring one book to the table and say "this is what we are reading this month", instead of a discussion over which of the four books someone brings we read.
So far only one person has risen to the challenge...and now its my turn.....
I have to go in there with an outstanding book to prove the merits of the idea, and to uphold my good name in the club as last time I took books,we read the snow child, which is the best received book to date.
I have an idea or two,but would appreciate more..what would you take?

Helen | 4217 comments I was going to take Boy's Life to mine, not more as can't go.

Chatterjak | 53 comments The book I've most enjoyed this year, which was May We Be Forgiven by A.M. Homes - plenty of discussion to be had from it, and she was also a new author to me & made me excited to read more by her.

Bill | 2908 comments The book I've enjoyed most this year has been The Razor's Edge. I don't know what books your group enjoys, but it was quite excellent.

Louise Thanks for suggestions....
I'm not too concerned about what they like...just what I might...they've made me read some bad stuff (I've actually refused to read this months, which is firsta self help book!!!!!)

Helen | 4217 comments I'm secretly pleased that I couldn't make this month's as the book they picked was poor, it wouldn't have had my vote.
