There are 26 tasks and they are in principal the same for everyone. Except that you have to read them from the point of view of your character.

The tasks are divided in several groups just to make it easy to understand what we are reading and what it is based on.

The tasks are:

Name
1) Read a book with a main character that has the same initials.
2) Read a book that uses your nickname in some way and explain how.

3) Read a book with a main character that has the same age as you at the beginning of the series. (plus a max of 3 years)
4) Read a book with a main character that has the same gender.

7) Read a book with a main character that has the same amount of brothers and sisters.
8) read a book with a main character that has the same place in the birth order.
9) Read a book with a main character that has the same number of children.
10) Read a book with a main character that has the same marital status as your character.
11) Read a book with a main character that has the same sort of marriage as your character (arranged, convenience or love). If your character has been married more than once you can use one of them.

Family crest
12) Read a book where one or more of the colours of the family crest play a major part in the story. They can be the school colours or the colour of the house they live in.
13) Read a book where the animal in the family crest is the main character or plays an important part somehow.
14) Read a book that is connected in some way to the family motto and explain how.

15) Read a book with a main character that has the same sort of religion as you. There are 3 types of religion in GoT: polytheistic, monotheistic and nature based

Every character has chapters from their point of view in this series.
21) Read a book in a series that corresponds with the book in which your character has most of their chapters. So if your character has most of their chapters in book 3 you have to read the third book in a series.
22) Read a book with the same dominant cover colour as the book in which your character has most of their chapters.
23) Read a book with the same object (big or small) on the cover as the book in which your character has the least chapters.
24) Read a book that has the same amount of chapters as your character has in total. (plus or minus 2 chapters)
25) Read a book in a series that has as many book as the number of books that your character has chapters in. So if your character only has chapters in 2 books than you have to read a series of 2 books.

Loyalties
26) Ask any 2 participants in this challenge to recommend a book to you and read one of them. Be carefull who you ask though. If they are loyal to you they have to recommend a book they think you will like. If they are not loyal to you they will have to recommend a book they think you won't like. If their loyalty is unsure they can go either way.



I have already done some work for you and from memory and using Google I have already compiled a lot of data for you. The list doesn't have to be complete and if you disagree with me please tell me why and what you think it has to be.
In the next messages I will give the data by character.

Do the books have to be specific length? It is just that I am struggling to find a book with only 17 chapters. I might have better luck if the book was shorter then the usual 150 pages...

It is plus or minus 2 chapters so you maybe you have better luck with 18 or 19 chapters. Chapters might be considered loosely, so parts is also acceptable and a book with 17 short stories is also a choice you might make.

Ah, short stories! Thanks for that option.

@Lauren: don't know if you'd read Oryx and Crake, but it has 15 chapters.Or sections or something.

Oh sorry 1 more question can I read a book in the Game of Thrones series for this challenge?

Absolutely. Normally they only count as bonus books in challenges like this, but I wanted to have them as "easy" options this time. It might be an extra incentive to read the books knowing you can use them in a challenge.

P.s. I know they aren't really that easy because of the page count, but at least you don't have to seargh for cover colours or objects on the cover.
