I have a question. Do you guys like bookmarks? Do you collect them and make your own? I do both. I plan to make bookmarks for my friends who I do Christmas cards with every year as a Christmas gift to go with their cards. I am going to make a simple ribbon bookmark from the book Family Fun Crafts: 500 Creative Activities for You and Your Kids in which it has a step by step tutorial on how to make your own ribbon bookmarks. All you need for it is ribbon, glue, construction paper, scissors, and a hole punch. I will be printing the images that I am making bookmark size to my friends and will be printing them off to glue to the bookmarks. I will also be laminating them with the scotch 4X6 self-laminating pouches which you can get at Wal-Mart. I did some by email to one of my book club friends to print out and laminate which I did by Microsoft paint and did a picture I did of a Christmas scene I hand-drew and turned it into a bookmark and did it that way because she was from another country. But this is a great gift to give to others and I hope if you guys ever do this, that I hope your friends enjoy your gift to them.
