RJ Scott's End Street Detective agency is open for Christmas. I am truly liking this series. Bob the vampire, Teddy the ghost, Smudge the non-cat familiar to Sam the not-as-human-as-he-says-he-is. And this time we an angel (an AVENGING angel) and Santa's nephew Nick. I know it sounds too silly for words, but it is really very good, and perfect for the holiday season.

I agree with the other review on Amazon that the secret of the necromancer seems a little bit of an anticlimax after the big, dark foreboding buildup. But this series is more about the characters finding their way forward in life than about complex and surprising mysteries.

One of my favorite paranormal worlds ever.
