Glad to be back for 2014. I signed up for Franklin (reading 10 books) in 2013 but ended up well and truly exceeding that goal. This year I want to continue to discover Australian women writers, so I'll try to read books by at least 12 writers whose work I haven't read before, while also continuing to read the work of writers I enjoyed in the 2013 challenge.

Great challenge Anna - I have to confess (hanging head in shame) I had no idea how many Australian female writers there were when I first started these challenges - and they cover every genre too!

Here are my lists of books read for the challenge. I've reached my goal of reading books by 12 Australian women writers whose work I hadn't read before (and have discovered some wonderful authors!). But I won't let that stop me - I'll keep searching for Australian women writers to read throughout the rest of 2014 (and beyond).
