So I'm about halfway through and I like it so far. A few chapters ago I thought "this writing style is familiar" so I looked up the author and realized he wrote
. I like this much better than Coraline, although there are some gross parts.

So I enjoyed it. It was a quick and strange read. I couldn't quite put my thoughts together after I finished it, it was too strange.
well Coraline was strange so it would be to since it was by the same author.Im hoping to get to this book by the end of next month...im so behind.

I read it last month and I thought it was a bit strange, but in a good way. I've never actually really read any "magic realism" books before (not that I can remember), so this was ... particularly interesting. It was also my first introduction to Neil Gaiman.
I can't say I loved it. I didn't dislike it, either. I thought it was all right. I ended up rating it a 3.5 stars, which rounded up to a 4 on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ. I do want to read some of his other works - I heard American Gods is really good and The Sandman (I think).

I felt about the same about this book. After I finished it, I didn't quite now what to think. But a while later I realized that I really enjoyed it. I'd like to read more of his books too.
