I have read a child called it, and I have got to say that that book is one of the most moving books I have ever read!

Well, this calls for stronger measures than usual! How many plots can you handle in your head at once??

Put each book next to a different chair (or *ahem* other seating in a tiled room) in your house. Read whatever is next to you when you are sitting in a particular spot.

If you find yourself heading for a particular chair more than the others, that's the book to keep with to the finish, and then go onto another.

Just on GP (general principles), I'd leave Witch Fire until last, mainly because you have read it before and you have a bunch of new books to get through.

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish If you like historical romance, I would check out Julie Garwood . I'm really enjoying her books.

message 104: by Elvia (new)

Elvia (elvb) Okay....
I have Spirit Bound and Out of the Shadows from the library.
I WANT to read SB, and I noticed the library didn't "technically" check out OOTS when they gave it to me. So I have that one for pretty much as long as I want...maybe. HOWEVER, I don't know if I want to prolong the suspense of reading SB and just read OOTS first.
Decisions....

message 105: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thenightowl) SB ends in a cliffhanger...you might want to wait till it's closer to December to read it. lol.

message 106: by Elvia (new)

Elvia (elvb) Thanks Jackie...I only have it till the end of August tho. I'll read it after I read OOTS then. :)

Jonathan (jonathan1) Im wondering weather to buy The Time Travellers Wife by Audrey Niffingear... but I'm not too sure.

I wouldn't spend the money on it. If you're really curious borrow it or check it out from the library. Some people loved the book, but I found it to be a disappointment.

I'm trying to decide between reading...
Blue Is For Nightmares
Beastly
Token of Darkness

I just checked these three out at the library, along with a ton of HR books. Then decided that I am NOT in a HR mood... which means I am left with one of these. Any suggestions on which to read next?

I like this idea, but I don't like reading more than 2 books at once. Plus I am kind of picky about where I sit, which means... I would most likely end up reading whichever book was set next to my side of the couch or my rocking chair. However, it's a great concept for when I multiple comfy reading seats. :)

message 111: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan (jonathan1) What should I read next? I can't make my mind up...
It's between either,
Memoirs Of A Geisha by Arthur Golden
Under The Dome by Stephen King
Harrt Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (for the 5th thime) by J.K. Rowling...

Kristina | 778 comments I enjoyed Memoirs of A Geisha. It was pretty interesting. The story moved along well. I like the movie, too.

message 114: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thenightowl) I vote for Memoirs since I haven't read Under the Dome. The movie is fantastic and very close to the book.

message 115: by stormhawk (new)

Jo wrote: "I've only read Hush, Hush out of those but i enjoyed it. It's a fairly quick read too."

I've had most of these books on TBR list for ages. I finally requested them all from the library, and I have no idea where to start. Over a 3 day period I am going to be stuck in a car for about 11 hours! I figure reading is the best way to keep busy while my hubby drives. Hush, hush did sound good. Was it the type of book that made you want to read straight through the book without putting it down?

These are all library books so I want to get through them. I am taking my Nook as back up, but I want to read the library books first. :)

I ended up reading A Chalice of Wind and Hush, Hush. I LOVED Hush, Hush! The 2nd book in the series comes out on the 19th, and I can't wait!

Now, I am trying to decide between a ton different library books. lol I need to stop requesting so many books at once, because I never know which ones to read first!

A Circle of Ashes
A Kiss at Midnight
Blue Is For Nightmares
Witchling
Need
Cast in Shadow
Once a Witch
Wings
Night Myst
Scar Night

Any suggestions?

Here is a site that is similar to bookseer. It helps you find books that are similar to other books you have read to help decide what to read next...

message 124: by Michelle (new)

Michelle (shadowrose) I've only read one from that list and that's Night Myst, I found it really interesting and really enjoyed it.

I'd say My Love Lies Bleeding.................I'm a sucker for vamp books though.

Have you read it?
I started Shiver, but I am almost done with it. Now, I'm stuck again. That's the problem with having so many ebooks... I can never decide which one to read next!

sonya marie madden | 441 comments karin slaughter is a good author if you like suspense. I do not go by critics reviews. it's up to me.if I like an author, I'll read anything by that author even if the book sucks

Thanks. lol Now, I'm trying to decide between Possessions, Firespell,
Demonglass, and Falling Under.

message 134: by Michelle (new)

Michelle (shadowrose) Okay I'm having a hard time picking out a second book to read. I'm already reading Summer Knight by Jim Butcher, which is a paranormal mystery type of book so I'm trying to avoid too much of the same thing. Here are my choices that I'm interested in. Sometimes I just need someone to tell me what to read, lol.

The Branding
Shadow Bound
Wings
Succubus Blues
The Iron King
Never Knew Another
River God: A Novel of Ancient Egypt

message 135: by sonya (new)

sonya marie madden | 441 comments i never read any of those books. but shadow bound sounds good.

message 136: by Elvia (new)

Elvia (elvb) Michelle, I've only read Succubus Blues. I really enjoyed it. Shadow Bound looks interesting though.

I read The Iron King. It was okay, but different. My Husband liked Succubus Blues, he said it was very racy, but good. Hmmm... I think the Shadow Bound book sounds good too!

Of, course Sonya. You can Post it in the Buddy Read folder so that whoever wants to join in, can. :)

message 140: by Kathy (new)

Kathy (kpssart) | 1 comments I've only read Succubus Blues from your list. And I recommend it but I’ll have to warn you that you will want to read the whole series. Happy reading.

message 141: by Michelle (new)

Michelle (shadowrose) Thanks everyone :) Once I finish up a small mystery I started I'll probably start reading Succubus Blues on my kindle.

Charlotte | 25 comments I'm torn between the following books:

With This Ring
Lie by Moonlight
The Da Vinci Code
Mischief
Jarka Ruus
A Spell for Chameleon
Wait Until Midnight
Touch Not the Cat
Don't Look Back

Any suggestions? One or two would be fine for now. Thanks!

message 146: by Dave (new)

Dave Wood (pocket7976) Da Vinci Code isn't that bad, its quite a fun read, if you don't think about the lack of plot to much!!

Personally I'd read Spell for A chameleon first - again just to get it over with!!

Again with the 'get it over with' lol. What's wrong with A Spell for Chameleon?

message 148: by Dave (new)

Dave Wood (pocket7976) I'm afraid I'm not the worlds biggest Piers Anthony fan - there's only so many bad puns you can take in any one book
