Tayoden

To the West of Aldon stands the city of Tayoden. Tayoden is not a simple town, rather it is a city, thriving and governed by humans. The great city was built into the climb of Mount Oden, many of it's structures being carved from the rock of the mountain. The city is walled off, and extends a great deal up the mountain side. It is quite rare to see a species beyond human within the city, though the King does hold some loose ties with the Elven kind as well as Dwarven. Tayoden was the first and most successful city built by the hands of mankind. The city welcomes nearly all humans and has a rather vast range of skilled folk--anywhere from blacksmiths to merchants. Like most of Aldon, Tayoden is ruled by a king who has a small council at his side.

Terragot

In the North-western part of Aldon stands the city of the seaside, Terragot. Terragot is on the edge of Lake Siofra, a large body of water that goes for miles until it reaches the base of the Capper Mountain Range. Terragot is a semi wealthy city, fashioned mostly from stone along the shore of the lake. Terragot is one of the only larger city that has species of all sorts to live within it. Elves who are not as ingrained with the their natural roots as their ancestors or those who wish to have another life style have taken residency in Terragot. Humans tend to love Terregot despite the chilly weather that seems to claim the city. Dwarves used to be found in Terragot, but not as inhabitants, rather they would be there to trade since right across the large lake is the mountain range many Dwarven kind once lived. However, their have been fewer Dwarves to come into the city as of recent.

Terragot is governed by an individual known as the Lord of Terragot. The Lord is similar to a king, but unlike a king, the Lord is not the only power. Terragot has a council of two, who are a critical part of the decision process of Terragot. They run on a majority vote system amongst the three. But the Lord has the authority to dismiss the opinions of the council at times, though this generally causes an uproar. The council members are picked by the folk of Terragot while the Lord inherits the title.

Easlyn

Within the Hathen Forest stands the Elven City of Easlyn. Easlyn is fashioned from things of nature and in a manner that do not disrupt the processes of nature. Much of the city spirals up into the trees, being connected by bridges. The city of Easlyn is beautiful and guarded by a large wooden wall that fully encloses the civilisation. The Easlyn Elves are not the friendless of beings, generally not holding hospitality to outsiders. Main of the Easlyn Elves are skilled in swordsmenship as well as bowsmenship. Their is a very technical social ladder, making the 'lower' leveled Elves remain low and the heightened Elves the same. It's also rare for outsiders to venture into Hathen Forest, due to rumors of the creatures that lurk within it. Easlyn is ruled by a King and shall be passed on to his eldest son.

Athagord was the hubcap of activity, the dominate kingdom amongst the land. Athagord was as welcoming as it was deadly. The city was built of stone on a stretch of land that had no grass, but rather a smooth stone base. All species were known to be present in the great city. But, Athagord was rather distance from the other kingdoms within Aldon, making travel to it a trouble of sorts, but not unneeded. Athagord held the widest section of merchant goods, of personalities, and possibilities. The great city also held a masterful army at it's hand. It was ruled by a great bloodline of kings and was expected to be the last of the kingdoms to ever fall.

It was not just an attack...it was a onslaught that brought Athagord to it's knees. Even then, the strong souls of the city were not going to give in quick or easy. The battle lasted two months, in which time no one managed to get far in their efforts to signal for aid. Those who controlled the beacons had been the first to be killed, the day before the battle had began. Despite all of their greatness and gallant warriors, Athagord crumbled to the darkened army. Few escaped with their lives. This happened six months prior to the current date, and word of the downfall has yet to get out. Such news would be all that was needed to alert the beings of Aldon that something strong is coming--is here and hidden.
