I really enjoyed this book. Intrigued to see what others thought of it. From reading the reviews, it appears that if you are an extremely passionate fan of Pride & Prejudice, you might not enjoy it. For me, I loved hearing about what the "downstairs" (or to be technically correct, the off-scene) side of Pride & Prejudice could have been.

I did feel the ending was a tad too Downton Abbeyesque though!

Those are brilliant! Don't worry, the reference to Downton Abbey was that things ended way more happily than I believe would have been the case in real life. Hurry up and read it so we can discuss!
