So Vanity Fair won by 1 vote narrowly beating out Bleak House. I won't be starting this for a couple of days but looking forward to finally clearing this one off my shelf.

FirnMamaMakes I'm excited to get to this, it's been in my kindle Classics for a while. Does anyone else read classics for free via an e-reader and then buy pretty copies of their favorites? It's entirely possible I'm just a weirdo. Anyway, I love that this groups is getting me to pick up a big book I've been overlooking!

¶Ù±ð²õ¾±°ùé±ð | 11 comments Looking forward to reading this as well. I usually will download a free version of a classic onto my kindle app along side of owning a physical copy. It's just way more convenient to have options in portability - especially when it comes to chunksters as these!

FirnMamaMakes Anyone else get confused with all the Crawleys? I looked up a family tree because my head was spinning. lol

I'll admit I read the first 50 pages and haven't touched it since... oops! I just can't seem to bring myself to read this one!

message 6: by Zara (new) - added it

Zara (zarazara) I just started yesterday and I'm about fifty pages in as well. This is the first week of classes, but hopefully that won't impede me too much!

Sarah (sarahgroen) | 5 comments Is it very difficult? It's not translated into Danish (my first language), so now I'm wondering if it will be too challenging?

Sarah (sarahgroen) | 5 comments Oh nevermind, it is translated. I'll give it a go then.

FirnMamaMakes I'm at 25% now. I'm finding the more I sort out who is who the easier it gets to read, it gets into a rhythm. I'm not sure if I like WMT'S interjections or not, sometimes it's cool that he breaks the fourth wall, but then sometimes I think 'dude, I don't need every nuance explained, quit interrupting'. lol. I'm wondering if that's going to get annoying by the end and lower my opinion overall. I'm curious who everyone's favorite characters will be, too, because I'm finding sometimes the sweet ones are the most unlikable. :)

Jackie (perjacxis) | 4 comments My copy arrived today and I'm looking forward to hopefully reading it next week.
