Hello everyone!
How are your August reads going?
Anyways, I completed Scion of Ikshvaku and completely loved it. According to me, it was a great poiltical drama and I loved the kind of characters Amish created out of Lord Ram and Sita.
I loved Bharat and Lakshman very much, the way they respected and loved Lord Ram despite the circumstances.
I loved how Amish related Meluha with Ikshvaku, and I can't wait to read the next one!
How did you guys like it? :)

Didn't read
(Will read if August stays a few more days in India). Just completed
by Hermann Hesse and now back on
by Ruta Sepetys. Actually, I started it few days ago to check if I can read more than 2 book at a time. I failed. So, I cleared my Currently-Reading shelf, and put it away. Now my shelf is almost empty, I started it again. Read again from the beginning and enjoyed it. Almost 25% done, will complete it in 3-4 days. Although story is gripping and emotional till now.

Hey everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the August reads :)
Just wanted to add an update here. I'm starting Between Shades of Gray now and I'm excited despite the book's setting because I love historical fiction.

Just completed Between Shades of Gray . 5 out of 5. I don't give 5 star easily but this book deserves. Author played with the emotions of the reader. Disturbing. Maybe review it sometime later. Speechless. Taking a break from reading for some days. Then I should read something light.
Now researching about it and Lithuania.

BSOG improved my avg rating though it is still 3.12 because of CB's books.

Now August is over, Should not we discuss our August picks? I thought after Pre-discussion, there would be Discussion.

Unfortunately, we won't be having August book discussion. Really Sorry. But things are going to be different from this month so Yay and I hope you join us for the September Read-along, cause we most certainly will have a lengthy discussion threads for them :)
