Children's genre books are not suitable for option 2 since it requires a book between 100 and 200 pages. Keeping Score has 202 pages and the genre children's. Task 30.7 does not have a children's genre exception.

i think you mean opt #4 (the opt # that i listed Keeping Score for)since opt #2 of this task stated that the book read had to be a min of 100 pages to a max of 220 pages.

so even though that opt. (#2)states that the book can only be 100-200 pages long, it can not be a "childrens" or "kids" genre that does meet that specific page requirement for that opt. #2 because of it being a 30 point task? just want to clarify before i re-pick what to read for that task.

When I originally selected the book, the setting said China. I guess i will have to pick another book.

I think the confusion occurred because at the time the book is set (1893), Malaya was a province of China, so in a way it is set in China (but not the modern one).
Well it is your call. :) I am not going to split hairs over 5pts. I won't have time to read another book for this task.

Ups, definitly my fault. I think I mixed up my history.I could have sworn that Malaysia was part of China at some time, but it seems that there was only a heavy Chinese influence, and at the time of the book it was a British colony...
Seems I have to fresh up on my Asian history...
