When We Were Very Young by A. A. Milne
Amazon and my library show it is for children ages 7-10 (grades 2-4).
I have another book that was previously approved ... but I have to read this one for a different challenge so thought it was worth asking about it.

When We Were Very Young is an early elementary book and, therefore, not allowed for points in the SRC.
Please review #4 under Book Formats and Page Numbers Explained in the Rules of the Challenge.

So excited to dig in to the challenge this spring. I am hoping to get lots read. In honor of starting the spring challenge, I wrote a Haiku.
My Springtime Reading Haiku
Warm weather fresh air
Sitting in the rays of sun
Stories call to me
Horror, suspense, thrills
Sci-Fi, fantasy romance
And some mystery
Zombie vampires blood
Eating killing surviving
Don't forget to run!
Hair standing on end
Jump, scary, thrilling, screams
Chills run down my spine
Aliens on Earth
Laser beams, spaceships, asteroids
Robots rule mankind
Magic in the air
elves, fairies, witches, goblins
fight to save their realm
Cuddles, kisses, hugs
Butterflies flutter within
True love awakens inside
who, where, when, why, how
search, question, find all the clues
solve this mystery
Discovering all
Another world, different time
I love these stories

1. Read a book of poetry or a book written in verse
2. Read a book with one of the genres listed in the haiku (horror, suspense/thriller, mystery, romance, science-fiction, or fantasy) on the book's main page. Genres may be stand alone or embedded but if using suspense/thriller both genres must be listed, separate or together.
3. Read a book with a word from My Springtime Reading Haiku that is at least four letters long in the title or subtitle. Possessives, singular/plural, and tense variations are allowed, but no other variation. For example, for the word discovering you could use: discover, discovered, or discovers as well as discovering.
