MK (wisny) | 29 comments I sent everyone a message (I think). I wandered in, saw us without a moderator, so I created a few folders, shuffled a few posts, and sent you all a message, asking someone to take over.

Post here, or message me, if you'd like/or would take the nod! I'll make you mod, and take me off :)

- MK :)

EelKat Christine Allen | 8 comments I don't mind taking over if a mod is still needed. I used to mod on various forums, so I know the basic "how to mod" stuff. Plus I was a NaNoWriMo/Script Frenzy ML for 6 years in Saco. So I know how to set up offline meetings as well, if group members were interested in some sort of monthly get togethers.

Marianne | 8 comments I didn't realize we had a group here in Maine!! I live in Gorham and would love to get together with others from my area.

You're IT! I had only taken the spot in order to send a group message out, I never actally 'modded' the group. I just put myself back in, gave you the mod spot, then took myself back out again ^_^.

If you want a co-mod, message group member Kit. She also recently inquired about it, but was going to hold off until the fall when she's back in Maine. But if you're taking the reins, and need a helper, I bet she'd do it!

Awesome! So glad the group will have a mod :). Thx, Wendy :)

Dollie | 10 comments Hi Wendy, just want to let you know that I'm also willing to help. I've never moderated any groups, but am a quick learner and just wanted to offer my help if there's ever anything you need done. (Unemployed Admin Assistant with too much time on her hands. LOL)

A.D. Morel (ADMorel) | 5 comments Hi Wendy,

How is it going with our Reading in Maine GR group?

What if we start a discussion?

Favorite books by Maine authors, any category.

People can nominate any time. Do add the link for the book. It's easy in GR comments and reviews, just put this in the text, without any spaces between the characters: [ book : title ]

A group member can then click and follow the link to the GR info for that book. Here are two examples from my own collection:

- literary suspense, takes place in Maine A Skeptic's Luck

- the sequel/stands alone, in Hawai'i with some of the same characters An Unruly Pawn.

That might be fun, yes? I'd encourage people to put up favorite books from any era, modern, old, and in between too.

All the best!
