Tayla Potayta (taylapotayta) FOUR DAYS :)

Caru SO EXCITED!THEO JAMES<3

Tayla Potayta (taylapotayta) whoooopppp

Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) I am so excited!! gonna watch it with my GR friends here on Saturday :)

Tayla Potayta (taylapotayta) Saw this tonight!!! 5 stars

message 6: by sam (new) - rated it 5 stars

sam (samlo28) Just saw it and I liked the acting but I was a little disappointed with how much they changed/left out. I'm curious what other people thought about the changes or the movie in general!

DarknessIsUponUs i haven't seen it yet :( it is not out in Australia, 16 days to go :(

Cate (The Professional Fangirl) (chaostheory08) I liked it. It was long and the editing was choppy but it is to be expected. The first book was one long introduction to Tris and the society and it's a lot of stuff to cram into a 2.5 hour movie.

But it was all about waterproof defining mascara and brown smudged liner to me. Boy, I thought the LesMis movie had too many closeups. I was very well acquainted with Miss Woodley's freckles by the end of the first hour.

MAKEUP IN ABNEGATION!!!! I was pissed at this as well

Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) I LOVE IT!
There are changes on some scenes but it doesn't really bothered me. It is somewhat faithful on the story line, I mean it wasn't change. Well if they fit all the scenes on the book, maybe it will take more than 3 hours.

THEO JAMES surprised me as Four. I love him!

Cate (The Professional Fangirl) (chaostheory08) Hahaha, IKR? Brown smudged liner. idek.

Yes, Theo James was surprisingly good.

I think I would have liked it if I hadn't compared it so much to the book. That was all I though about during the movie and I kind of regret it. I seriously don't know how they'll handle the next two movies considering they cut out such important scenes and characters such as Uriah and the butter knife scene. Especially the latter since that whole scene is the reason Edward leaves Dauntless to join the factionless.

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 1021 comments Loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D Might even be better than the book!

Natasha S ♥ (tashieareads) I wrote a blog post about how I disliked the movie...

yesss I went midnight premiere! I havent heard anyone say it was better! It was really good and its been like 3 years since I read them so I loved it. Most people around me said "book was way better" when it was over. It is always better

link? I would love to read it

Natasha S ♥ (tashieareads) I read a post from these people who HAVEN'T read the book. Mostly they were confused. Most of it was the simulations. SO---Conclusion of this point: You want to read the book. BUT---Debate about this point: If you HAVE read the book, it's disappoint. SO basically it's horrible both ways. And I didn't like it. Just. No.

wow thats so interesting

Natasha S ♥ (tashieareads) Yeah. This is the link to the people who HAVEN'T read it. :)

Tayla Potayta (taylapotayta) personally, and I don't mean to offend you, but I think people that get waaay too into a book will never love the movie that's made out of it. OF COURSE its going to be different and of course things will be taken out of it. When I read the hunger games I was obsessed with the first book and read it again before the movie and I hated it. I didn't re-read catching fire and loved the movie. I have always seen that if you read a book months before the movie comes out you realize things that you forgot about instead of seeing whats different.

Natasha S ♥ (tashieareads) Not offended at all! For me, I went to the movie was a group, and I would actually not go. I'd prefer to just read the books. As you said the movies are always a down grade from the movie. But Divergent was just sad to me because they got rid of almost all the good parts. That's the only thing that blinks in my head as a "Major Problem" And I do get obbssessed and into books, and that's why in the end I'd rather not even see the movie. I even go to the movie knowing it will be just a big disappointment, but I STILL will make a big deal out of it. For me, in Divergent, was that they took out my favorite part. When Peter stabbed Edward in the Eye with the Butter Knife. That was the part that really disappointed me. They didn't have it. And yeah, I agree, but I am being slightly hypocritical as I say it.

yeah I have actually been hearing that a lot. Everyone is really mad that that scene wasn't in it. I always get into the book so I try to read it way before it comes out and try to read other books haha. I love when a book I read becomes a movie.

Hannah (clockworkhannah) | 10 comments I saw it twice last week! I really loved it but it definitely had some issues, which was to be expected. If Shaliene and Theo werent the ones playing the main roles, I might've not liked it as much. I thought they did an excellent job.

Matilda | 5 comments I'm seeing it again tomorrow AHHHHH so excited

Tayla Potayta (taylapotayta) saw it my third time the other day, cried as much as i did the first time!!

I pre-ordered it

L (lgalathynius) The book series was awesome though the movie wasn't that great.
Shailene Woodley did am amazing job. Theo James is cute and all... but his acting wasn't that great.
