Erin Vastag I want to reread this book. I do remember I liked it.

Emma Have you read the second book?

Libby | 6 comments I am currently reading where she went

Shawna | 7 comments I did not care that much for the first book, but I was interested enough in the character to want hear the audio version of Where She Went. I loved the sequel! I just recommended both books to my friend at work that loves young adult books. t

Loes (lucybrown) | 103 comments I love this book so much! I read it in Dutch, both books, and I can recommend it so everyone! I think it's very interesting to see how Mia's struggling, and Gayle Forman did excellent in writing an amazing story though the eyes of (view spoiler).

The movie is coming out. Watch the trailer!!!!

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

This book is amazing! There was just so much feels! But I loved the sequel Where She Went more!

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

So... Did anyone else see the movie trailer! I thought it was stupid to make a movie our of it but it looks good!

Fritzi (fritzipst) | 2 comments Cate wrote: "So... Did anyone else see the movie trailer! I thought it was stupid to make a movie our of it but it looks good!"

I saw it, it seems really nice, but I thought it would make more sense to do a movie of the the two books together

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes I saw it I wish they cast someone different for adam

Kelsea MacKay (kelseakay) | 1 comments I was wondering if I should bother with the second. I liked the first book, but my favorite part was her and Adam together. I find it weird that they would just break up.

Andrea (quesadilla) | 49 comments Kelsea wrote: "I was wondering if I should bother with the second. I liked the first book, but my favorite part was her and Adam together. I find it weird that they would just break up."

Hi Kelsa!
I really do think that you should read the second one! I personally liked it more than the first one and soooooooooo beautifully written.

Catrin Burgess (meowtron) | 124 comments I definitely think they should do the second one, it was way better than the first and gave way more insight into adam.

Samantha Kelsea wrote: "I was wondering if I should bother with the second. I liked the first book, but my favorite part was her and Adam together. I find it weird that they would just break up."

I loved Where She Went and if you read the second one you should understand why they broke up. I liked the first one the best, but Where She Went had some really good parts! They better make the movie of it as well!

Bruna Santos (littlebookworm8) | 7 comments Reading Adam's POV was so different and special at the same time, as you read about him struggling with his "ghost". It was beautifully written, as is any of Gayle Forman's books :)

Donita (xxamethyststarxx) | 70 comments I just finished reading City of Heavenly Fire. And I am getting ready to start If I stay today sometime.

Donita (xxamethyststarxx) | 70 comments I just finished If I Stay by Gayle Forman. And I will be starting Where She Went soon.

message 20: by Lily (new) - rated it 3 stars

Lily Bannister (lilybannister) I REALLY want to get and read If I Stay & Where She Went because they look like quick and easy reads!

Donita (xxamethyststarxx) | 70 comments Lily wrote: "I REALLY want to get and read If I Stay & Where She Went because they look like quick and easy reads!"

They are quick, easy, but also very good books.

Catharine (catharinalouisa) I liked 'If I Stay' but didn't love it. I wanted to read it before I saw the movie was found it a little disappointing.

Chante Catharine wrote: "I liked 'If I Stay' but didn't love it. I wanted to read it before I saw the movie was found it a little disappointing."

I feel the same way. I thought the book was just OK and I thought the movie was better.

Renee (reneelisaaa) This and the second book were tugging on my heartstrings to no end.
As I said in a review, I am one to ponder odd things (your stereotypical writer I guess) but the books had me really, really thinking about what I'd do in those situations.

Alicia This book is on my to-read list. Tell me what you guys think about it...

Audryaunna | 47 comments I actually bookbinged the first book cause I wanted to watch the movie. The book was amazing. I was recommend this book and I am glad that I read it. I just finished the second book this morning. In my opinion I have no clue why she did a second book, I actually liked how the first one ended. But I would still recommend both books.

Rachel (dare2dream) | 82 comments I only read it because of the movie but I've to say that I was disappointed. I expected so much more in the book. I haven't watch the movie tho. Everybody's saying Where She Went is so much better, maybe I'll pick it up and give it a try.

message 29: by Abby (new) - rated it 5 stars

Abby (abbybrod) I cried about twice in the book and three times in the film, it was a great book. I'm about to read Where She Went

Madison | 2 comments I liked this book a lot but I loved Where She Went. It was from Adam's point of view and I loved that.

Hannah Withers (hannahwithers) | 195 comments I liked this book, but I wasn't crazy about the writing...never put my finger on the problem though.

Flora | 98 comments I loved If I Stay!! It actually made me cry. Where She Went was really good too. Adam's POV was interesting to read.

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

Really really awkward reading because age8 got hit by a car and went into a coma :o

message 34: by H.M. (new) - rated it 3 stars

H.M. Shander | 2 comments Honestly, I expected more from this book and felt let down. Based on what I've read, I'm hesitant to want to read the sequel. Was quite shocked that they made a movie out of, although the movie (which I haven't watched) does look pretty decent.

message 35: by Kassassinn (new) - added it

Kassassinn | 24 comments I read the book years ago and it was just one of those stories that get you hooked. I stayed up all night to read it. However, the movie was a bit of a disappointment. I mean, I should've realised it beforehand because Chloe Moretz seems to ruin every movie she's in (sorry to any fans of hers). And I wasn't impressed by the way they handled the scenes when she's playing the cello, it sorta looked like she was from that TV show Dirt Girl World (Google it & you'll see what I mean). Surely, they could've found an actor that could actually play the cello.

Libby | 6 comments Just saw the movie, they really screwed up Adam.

message 37: by Vann (new) - rated it 5 stars

Vann (vannhemmingsxbooks) | 3 comments I really love this book, I think Where she went is more powerful than If I stay. I fell inlove with Gayle Forman's writing easily. When I watched the movie of If I stay, I was really mad because they changed the name of Adam's band, I think its not pretty cool. >:( And the part when Adam struggle just to see Mia in the hospital was not supposed to be like what's on the movie. It was my favorite part in the book! :( But overall they didn't totally ruin the book and I am really happy about that. All the feels were still there.

message 38: by Fiza (new) - rated it 3 stars

Fiza Didn't like this book so much

Tania Hanu (taniahanu) | 2 comments just finished this book ... and I am like : "Mia?" !!!
OMG ! I need "Where she went " RIGHT NOW . Can you tell me if they'll make a movie based on Where she went ... ????

Libby | 6 comments So far, nothing yet. If I stay didn't do too well, so they may not do another movie.

message 41: by [deleted user] (new)

Great Great Great book. The first was (as I said great!), the second, not so much

Lauren | 1 comments This book was really melodramatic and boring. It did not have fun plot or any sort of twist. Everthing that happened I saw comming and the character was so Mary Sue.

Laura | 3 comments I loved this book. I read it during the summer and it took me about five days (I think) to finish it. I flew through that book, it was so good! It also got me back into reading, so that's why I love it even more! I am currently reading the sequel, and it is alright.

message 44: by Soumya (new) - added it

Soumya (-crazyangelicvamp-) added to read list

SSZ ( Book Nerd ) | 1 comments am i the only who didn't like this book at all? i think the book is pointless and nothing actually happen.

message 46: by Tiffany (new)

Tiffany (shixam) I almost forgot about this book! I need to add it to my list. I was interested when I saw the trailer for the movie, but didn't get to see it before it left theatres.

Esther (esthernicol77) | 2 comments LOVED IT <3

message 48: by [deleted user] (new)

My mom and my sister didn't like this book because they thought it was boring. Can anyone tell me without spoilers why they thought it was good or bad so I can decide whether I should read it or not?

mollusskka Hi TheGoneAngel, I'd read this book twice. My first time reading it, it was pretty boring because I think there were not enough dialogues. Too many descriptions. But my second time, which if 5 years after my 1st time, I really enjoyed it and I even cried. I was so absorbed by the story. I loved Forman's writing style.
