Scott Pixello | 1 comments Hi everyone,
I'm new here. I've written books,12 so far, mainly for a YA readership but with plenty of adult crossover. My main interest here is to see if what I write actually 'cuts it' as a clean read. All of my books (with the exception of Gagfest UK) should not cause anyone issues over language, sexual and violent content. I've just published my first romance and purposely not included steamy content.I want to try and make people think and hopefully smile too but without making anyone uncomfortable. This is very subjective- anyone care to take a look at What Love Can Do & see what you think?

Sheralyn (fairladyorchid) Happily. My idea of clean is definitely subjective. I recently defended the use of some offensive content as is used in books like To Kill a Mockingbird, but won't hesitate to warn others what is used since they deserve to be forewarned and make their own choice. I Am happy to give your book a read.

Amanda (amandalyn) | 113 comments Graphic sex scenes bother me. Romance is fine and so are implications of sex. I just don't want a detailed description, especially when it really does not advance the plot. I also don't mind a curse word here and there but don't want an endless stream of profanity.

Joan (jomarcho1) | 37 comments I don't like gratuitous graphic sexual scenes or the F word. I don't mind cuss words or married sexual innuendos.

C. | 297 comments I don't want to read pervasive profanity, especially 'F' bombs or religious cursing, occasional mild curses are fine, and I agree with Joan about the 'married' sexual innuendos, being acceptable lol!

But no detailed sex scenes.

However, do want the H/h to have strong physical attraction, and some knee weakening kisses, as long as their lust isn't constantly mentioned. I find romances with no lust totally unrealistic and boring. Why would any couple without sparking chemistry even want to marry?

And please no more books where there isn't even a kiss until the wedding!(YAAAWN)
