In the book Rot & Ruin by Jonathan Maberry, I found myself mesmerized unable to look away. From the first sentence I knew that I was in for one nightmarish ride. Readers will be snared in the traps of Rot & Ruin. (there are some spoilers).
The story Rot & Ruin takes place after civilization succumbed to the zombie disease. Benny Imura was a baby when first night struck (the first night of zombies) that was 15 years ago. Now Benny is going to join the family business, bounty hunting. But the only way to become a bounty hunter is to be taught by his older brother Tom Imura. Benny and Tom don’t get on the best of terms, but Benny’s going to have to suck it up if he wants to survive the great Rot & Ruin.
The author uses action throughout this adventure, as well as gut wrenching suspense that will leave the readers begging for more. This book is wonderful to read with zombies in every corner, and zombies are not the only problem for there are no rules in the Rot & Ruin. So gear up and train yourself to survive the Rot & Ruin
