Winter (winter9) | 4961 comments Those who don't have states, how large/ small area will you choose?

message 52: by Paul Emily (new)

Paul Emily Ryan (kickbackyak) Winter, where I live we don't have states, but we do have counties which are more or less the same thing. So that's probably what I'll be choosing for that. I'm also open to using my home city as well if that doesn't pan out.

I probably choose something like 100 km radius from my home town, or whole Finland. There's actually few books that I could read where everything, or at least 95% of the plot, happens in my home town :D

High school usually has 13-19 year olds, though most kids are in the 14-18 year old age range. It is the last phase of compulsory education for youth.

This is what I'm planning on doing, at least (fellow European here :)). We don't really have high school here either, though we have something similar that's usually for 13-18/19 year olds, so I reckon going by what Tanya's said that that would work just as well as high school would.

We have for kids, and older kids and then most go three years of school more, some specialized a bit, I think that is the closest maybe.

High school age would be 14/15 to start and 17/18 to finish depending on your birthday. It's the last four years before college.
