For this topic, I have chosen to read Asking For It. I'm nearly half way through it already and so far it's incredible. It covers the topics of rape culture and victim blaming, and I believe parts of the story are actually based on a true event. It's a necessarily disturbing story and it's told with so much realism. I think this a very important book that needs to be read by men and women, adults and teens alike.
