Group Reading Map (2016)

Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret - Farbrook, New Jersey
Room - I don't think the book specifies where it is set, but the movie version is set in Akron, Ohio. I would assume that's based on input from the author
Added Rachel's and my own:
Mr. Mercedes by Stephen King
Sandusky, OH (this is not explicitly mentioned but it's the speculation due to the clues in the book)

I added The Silkworm by Robert Galbraith for myself. I still feel like some are missing so I will go back through and check entries as I have time. If you still know something is not on here that you added, please let me know.
I also added Rachel and Amy.
I could not find Leyland, Massachussetts on the map, Rachel. So I plotted the best I could.

Fair enough. I'm not entirely sure that it was a real place, but they repeatedly mentioned Leyland throughout the book so at least it was an easy setting for me to remember.

Berlin, Germany

Estelle, Jody, Stacey, Kirsten, Adam, Veronica, Babitix, Jennifer, and Jean.
Kirsten - I did not map the last two on your list. Earth, for Deadly Messengers, is too broad a place to map and you didn't give me any locations to map for World War Z. It is also very helpful for me if you can post the book first followed by all the locations (primary location and any secondary locations). It saves me a lot of time having to research where the book is primarily set. :)

(Because I read in Portuguese: O Fim de Todos Nós)
Primary:
The author is so sweet she aswered my question when I asked her where the series were set.
The island in the book is made up. It seemed cruel to me to devastate a real island town, and also that allowed me to make up whatever I wanted about what was in the town without it being "wrong." My made-up island is located off the southeast coast of Nova Scotia, and is most closely based on the real Cape Sable Island, just farther away from the mainland and with one consolidated town rather than several scattered villages. You can see some pictures that I used for setting inspiration here if you're interested: ...

Deadly Messengers has no clue where it is set.
As to World War Z, I gave up tracking where it is set. There are TOO many to list.

That's fine. I just can't really map it without locations. If you want to give me at least one location for World War Z, I can throw it up. I don't have to map every location if you don't want to list them all.

(Because I read in Portuguese: A Seleção)
Primary:
Angeles, Illéa.
Since Illéa is US and part of Canada (I think it is, because she explains it along the book), Angeles must be Los Angeles, right?
Help me, guys!

It is roughly North America. There is a map in at least one of the books but it might be a later one in the series. I don't want to spoil by saying too much. And yes, LA roughly corresponds to Angeles but the latter is larger if I recall correctly.

Hm....that's interesting! I think someone read The Selection before me, so I think the place is set in our map. I keep reading the series and I'll se the map you mentioned.

I really should have paid closer attention to the location as I read so if anyone reads it and has corrections then just let me know.
