Set in the fictional town of Ridgedale, NJ. According to the book it's 20 miles north and slightly west of New York City. Looking at the map, I found a town in that approximate location called Ridgewood. Sounds like a good fit to me.

Michelle (girlvsbook) | 1173 comments Map is up to date again! Including... Jennie, Kirsten, Sam F, Ed, Molly, Valerie, Megan, Amy, Marina H, Babitix, and Beth.

Jennie - I don't think Middlewood is a real place but I saw that it's a small college town in northwestern OH so I went with Defiance because it's a small college town in northwestern OH.

Valerie - Thanks for the in-depth description Valerie. I tried... I hope that works. If not, let me know.

Thanks for our first space setting, Beth!

There are a surprising number of books set in Portland, Maine. Interesting. The more points we add to this thing, the more I love it! It's so pretty! *drool*

message 145: by Michelle (new)

Michelle (girlvsbook) | 1173 comments Oh! While I was working on those a couple more were submitted. I've just added yours too Sarah and Keri Duncan.

Sarah - London, VT seems to be a fictional town. But it looks like the author lives in Montpelier, VT. Since the author attended Vermont College where a girl is said to have died in one of the towers of a chapel, it seemed a fitting stand-in location for your book. ;)

message 146: by Lit_With_Britt (new)

Lit_With_Britt (brocmo1) I use my iPhone app for goodreads and it doesn't allow me to link the book... Can I still submit my books and locations?

message 147: by Michelle (new)

Michelle (girlvsbook) | 1173 comments Yes, Brittany. You absolutely can. If you could include both the title and the author though that would help me find the book easier. :)

message 148: by Roshini (new)

Roshini Dear Life: Stories

Primary: I think most of the stories are based around Lake Huron, Canada.

Also, just a general query: can we do this for collections of short stories? It would make it difficult to include all locations right?
