My favourite piece in the Spring 2009 issue was Tony Pi’s “Come-From-Aways about a Viking ship that washes up in a Newfoundland harbour with a single survivor on board. Tony Pi, a linguist by profession, handles the technical material well without swamping the reader, and the ending is up-beat and satisfying. James Doig, Horrorscope

Glynn | 340 comments I read this one tonight (2/15/16.) This was a fun read with a mostly predictable ending but you get to learn a bit about linguistics. 4 stars for me.

I liked this story. The concept that someone from history who disappeared (like Amelia Earhart) could have been thrust into the future, and not once but many times, is interesting. And of course it had a happy ending and I liked that.
