I am now accepting submissions of manuscripts in need of line and/or copy editing. As a professional editor, I've worked with a number of authors, including bestselling author Samantha Price.

I offer two different editing services (prices are in AUD, hence low cost):

$3 per 1000 words for a copy edit (fixing typos, grammatical errors and so on)
$5 per 1000 words for a line + copy edit (fixing sentence structure, repeated words, rhythm/flow of prose etc. in addition to copy editing)

I will edit the first chapter/3000 words for free as a sample of my work. This is to see if we click and to help you decide if you’d like to proceed with the edit.

Who is this person and why should I trust her with my precious baby of a manuscript?

In addition to being a grammar enthusiast and voracious reader, I have a degree in media, which involved studying journalism, grammar, creative writing and editing, as well as marketing, advertising, PR, social media/engagement and psychology. That means I’m perfectly equipped to help with the surface-level elements of your novel (proofreading and sentence structure etc.), but also have a good knowledge of structural elements as well as marketability of books, so I can also help you out with tailoring your story to your audience.

I will cover your pages in red, and that’s a promise. (But I will be nice about it. That is also a promise. Please don’t be scared � I won’t make you cry.)

My preferred genres are mystery/thriller, fantasy, romance and comedy, but I am happy to consider manuscripts outside these genres.
