Justin I finished Fast a few days ago. I really enjoyed the book. it jumped into the action so fast that I didn't feel invested because I didn't know the characters, but that changed quickly. I really liked king and Coleman and look forward to more with them. I think my favorite scene was when King threw the chair and started the challenge with bora.

Hi Shane, I am in the middle of a reread of FAST and enjoying it just as much the second time around!

I am curious as to how you came up with the idea for your creatures? Did you know what they would be like when you began writing, or did they evolve as the story went along? They are the perfect combination of disgusting and horrifying!
