Based on the title I thought this was going to be religious but I was wrong. It is set in the future which is kind of fun but it took me a while to figure out where the time travel element came in. I think Marek is able to see his father as a younger man because his father is an astronaut and functions on a different time speed in space. It ended somewhat abruptly without really getting to a point but it was entertaining enough, kind of like a short story version of the song "Rocketman."

I just read this (April 16th, 2022) and I agree that it's kind of like the song "Rocketman." I took me a while to get the gist and I think I will re-read it to see if I upgrade my rating from 3 stars to 4.
