Shelley Lawrence (shelleylawrence) I'm so sorry to be daft, but how does this work exactly? Do you read these chapters by Tuesday and then people just share their thoughts?

Yep! That's the idea. You can read each day or however fast/slow you want. The daily reading guide also serves is how we break up the discussion point :) some people read faster, some slower and some use the schedule! Whatever works for you

Shelley Lawrence (shelleylawrence) Great! Thank you.

Romanticbookworm | 6 comments I am loving this even more now and starting to really settle into it. I don't trust the character of Noam already but looking forward to seeing where this goes from here.

maggie (magemoran) Okay, so I'm a little confused about who exactly Agran is (King of Spring?) and the motivations behind taking over Winter (maybe we aren't supposed to know). Other than that not a ton of new thoughts or feelings in these last few chapters other than an increasing suspicion that Meira may actually be more important and not just an orphan than she's been lead to believe (another noble, maybe even somehow supposed to be the female that wields magic) not entirely sure but interested to see how it develops.

message 7: by LaChelle (new)

LaChelle I'm worried about Noam's interest in Meira.

Donnajo it sure is a interesting book. I'm up to chapter 11. Was a little mixed up with how far we were to read but that is okay. now I saw it was though 9.
I'm finding still things are confusing everything I think I'm knowing what is happening then it switches and makes me not too sure.

Eve (Functioning Insanity Reviews) (evilous) | 44 comments I'm with Maggie on thinking that Meira is more than an orphan. I was thinking maybe her and Mather's positions are reversed and they were raised that way to protect the real heir? Maybe? Am I crazy for thinking this?

Anyways I don't trust anyone right now. Noam seems to be expectant of her and that is never good, more so for females just saying. Although I do have to laugh at her being offended by the title Lady. Also I knew she shouldn't have set her weapon down there.

Jessica (TheBookNerd5) (readingwithjessica) I knew Miera getting that locket piece was too good to be true. It almost feels like a set up from the get go so she would lead them back to the camp. Sigh, Miera can't win for losing. She wants so bad to prove herself. Can I just say I'm loving Mather and Miera together?? Why must their love be forbidden?!? :(( I'm also pretty suspicious of this new place they're at. Can't wait to read more!

Mom2triplets04 | 316 comments Not much happened these chapters. I'm finding it confusing with the names. Finding it difficult to relate genders to the characters. Like meira is a girl yet. What is Mather and Noam are they males? This book would be so much better if she used boy and girl names. This always frustrates me when reading fantasy.

It's a bit slow. Trying to stick with it and not dnf it. Tell me it gets better or am I wasting my time?

Tiffany DeOs (thejumpingsheep) | 6 comments Finally starting to enjoy it more, of course that could be because they are getting ready for a ball. LOL I'm thinking that Miera is the actual heir too. Her dreams seem to be pointing to that and it just seems she is more than everyone is letting on. I can't wait to find out.
