Maybe let's post a link to the group (so people can request to join if they want) in the other group? At least in my groups I've found that that (rather than inviting people) tends to work a little better in finding who's actually interested and motivated to fully participate.

I honestly don't mind if she joins if she's willing to take it seriously and also to be critiqued.
