Emma Jaye | 3695 comments my final reviews for the round.

Tony Breeden (tonybreeden) | 29 comments Thanks for the honest review, Emma! I really like the title you gave it on Amazon. "Gaming has never been so serious!" That line may end up in a book trailer ;]

Tony Breeden (tonybreeden) | 29 comments So... a couple days late, but here is my Round 3: The Pages of Time. Good job, Damian!

Josephine Boyce | 14 comments Here's my final review for No Net. Amazon is being a bit slow again.

Noah Nichols (nanmanme) Here is my long-delayed review for Going Underground.

Amazon:

Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ: /review/show...

I'm really sorry about the delay, everyone. I was suffering from severe depression and self-imposed isolation this past week. On the real, my Wi-Fi connection kicked the bucket on me. But have no fear, my dampened spirits were then resurrected by an astute realization that I could still have pizza delivered to my door. That made everything better. Not for my girlfriend, though. She bolted out the door AND out of my life for good. So sad. I guess she was just too hot and ready for the taking to stay shacked up with such a Web-less dunderhead like me.

message 159: by Rafael (new)

Rafael (rafaelnyc) | 115 comments After reading Josephine Boyce's review of Noah Nichol's 'No Net', I have decided, unless anthropological or behavioral realities dictate otherwise, to expunge the words girl, woman, and female from my go to list. Henceforth, 'lady person' will be my default identifier. Brilliant. :-)

Josephine Boyce | 14 comments Rafael wrote: "After reading Josephine Boyce's review of Noah Nichol's 'No Net', I have decided, unless anthropological or behavioral realities dictate otherwise, to expunge the words girl, woman, and female from..."

As should all male persons and lady persons alike.

Actually shouldn't be that 'gentlemen persons' if we're having 'lady persons'?

Josephine Boyce | 14 comments Chrys wrote: "Actually shouldn't be that 'gentlemen persons' if we're having 'lady persons'?"

Quite right.

message 163: by Rafael (new)

Rafael (rafaelnyc) | 115 comments Well, in the rush to gender equality, experience and observation has made me a bit more circumspect in granting 'gentleman' status to my fellow tribesmen. :-)

Although I'm a woman, whenever someone refers to me as a 'lady' I have to stop myself looking around for whomever they actually mean...

message 165: by Noah (new)

Noah Nichols (nanmanme) Chivalry is now dead for all women in this disenfranchised year of 2016. The proof, you ask? Just yesterday I saw a man kindly open a car door for his sexy new tablet. True story. Believe me since it's easy to. And it's on the Internet.

message 166: by Emma (new)

Emma Jaye | 3695 comments We are galloping for the finish line with this one, only four reviews remain outstanding out of 40 and we have ten days to go.

message 168: by Emma (last edited Jun 09, 2016 01:53PM) (new)

Emma Jaye | 3695 comments Thanks Damian.

Today is the end of the group. We have three reviews outstanding.

Noah Nichols for Emma Jaye
Tony Breeden for Joe Turk
Sean DeLauder for Damian Knight.

Please get in touch if you know you are going to be late with your final reviews, or I'll start digging out my dominatrix gear.

You have been warned.....

message 169: by Sean (new)

Sean DeLauder (sean_delauder) | 83 comments I have finished reading, it's just a matter of finding some spare time to assemble my scribbles into a sensible review for Damian. But it's coming. If not tomorrow, then Saturday for certain.

message 170: by Noah (new)

Noah Nichols (nanmanme) Emma, I should have my last review up for the group by Monday. Between this and another group's deadline, I've been backlogged with literary commitments. I simply fell behind.

message 171: by Emma (new)

Emma Jaye | 3695 comments ok guys, I'll hold off the group spanking till after the weekend.

message 172: by Tony (new)

Tony Breeden (tonybreeden) | 29 comments I finished reading last night. I will have the review written by weekend's end

I think it's only fair that I pass on my spanking to whoever remains. Woe to that person who finishes last and winds up with three spankings. Or congratulations. I don't know what kind of experience Emma provides in that regard.

message 174: by Emma (new)

Emma Jaye | 3695 comments Thanks Sean, you are hereby released from the dungeon. Run free!

message 178: by Lynda (new)

Lynda Stevens | 3 comments Hello there
I have already reviewed a few SF things on Amazon and hope to get my hands on more. Hassle me if you want some more reviews from me on here.

message 179: by Emma (new)

Emma Jaye | 3695 comments Hi Lynda, I'm sure everyone in this group would gladly offer a free review copy of their book if you have the urge to review. What sort of scifi do you prefer?

message 180: by Noah (new)

Noah Nichols (nanmanme) Sorry for the delay. Refrain from the spank. Final review forthcoming.

message 181: by Emma (new)

Emma Jaye | 3695 comments Aw shucks, I was looking forward to that.

message 182: by Noah (new)

message 183: by Emma (last edited Jun 17, 2016 04:41PM) (new)

Emma Jaye | 3695 comments Charming.

I guess that refusing to employ a reviewer's friend as an editor in order to secure a higher star rating was a step to far.

I declare this group closed.
